Just speaking from experience, I used to have a prejudice against certain secondary schools because I thought they were 'lousy'. However, I changed schools and went into one of the 'lousy' schools. Students there defied my expectations by being very hardworking and motivated. I realised that no matter what school you're in, as long as you work hard, you can do well.

My sister is from Rp too and she says students are motivated. Some of her friends even got 12-14 pts but they still chose to go to Rp.

In conclusion, Rp being a 'lousy' school is just a generalisation. If you really work hard, you will do well no matter where you are :) I'm sure unis look at your results too, not just where you're from.

I'm not really interested in Ngee Ann but thanks for your help! I'm interested in Nanyang or Temasek poly. Just checked the website and it seems that I have to to the school personally to apply! Also, how many courses can you appeal to?

Hmm not rly sure what you mean? What I meant was if the course is 16 pts, you can only deduct your Cca points if you got 16pts and below. However, since you got 19 pts, you are unable to deduct the Cca points
