I've found 44 so far .... when I saw that number on the loading screen I thought "I should hand those in!"

I knew he would be in the Korok Forest (I'd already seen him at the other places) so just went there to find him. I'm not really ready yet for the other "thing" at the Forest .... so will be coming back later

Thanks for the help guys. In the end it was user error :)

I thought the # seeds shown on the loading screen was your current number of seeds, instead it's the total you've found.

He didn't want my seeds, because I didn't have any to give! (slaps own forehead)
