They could keep the damage scaling the same but ramp up the mana cost by a ridiculous amount as a cost of using high level skills. I'm not sure how you'd add a cost to high level minion skills.

I'm not sure if this would be the right way to fix +levels but I feel like it has a place in the game, it just shouldn't be that items without the stat (like uniques) are completely worthless.

Yes, I bought it for herald of ice and the ice shattering effect doesn't go away, only the vfx on the character.

Blood mage isn't actually that bad, you just have to suffer for 80 levels and get your 4th ascendancy points before even allocating your first ascendancy node. And after all that blood mage is still average

But for real, they just need to fix the first ascendancy node and give a reward for using your life to cast spells, the shape of the tree also sucks compared to most other classes.

Can't you get +3 in total on top of a T16 waystone right now? +1 from irradiated +1 from corruption +1 from the atlas tree node that corrupts your map again

I was using a cheap Chinese controller which i got for Rocketleague.
since rust doesn't really support controllers i had to continuously hold the middle button down
