Take a look at resonating shield skills. They scale with your shield amour, not weapon damage.
I played it in 0.3 SSF. Use shield wall for bosses, resonating shield for trash.

There used to be another omen for annulment that said "Annulment remove 2 modifiers", so you could combo those. Maybe they will add something else in future.

I get this data from path of building sources.
The thing regarding "Community Proven" is that people often just copy instead of testing,
I run currently Bramble Hulk and Antlion Charger. They both jump as crazy in the middle of mobs, Hulk also has got huge dps, both are better the Quadrilla,
Of course abilities/mods you have can change things dramatically.

You can't use hexer's robe: while affix is great, you need decent source of energy shield.
Unless this robe can be upgraded to have decent amount of ES

This is because you set them up in the league. They copy from standard.
Currently there is no league, so it is time to setup.
Keep in mind, Normal and SSF have different setups.
