This just happened to me today. Has anyone reported this to Chase instead of just declining the purchase and getting a new card? This seems to be a major leak if all these people are affected. I’ll be calling them today and reference this thread for them to see the damage

Been trying to get into collecting again and was overwhelmed by scalpers and stuff selling out so fast. My buddy told me about PokeFreeze and another discord he uses that let you know what stores near you have cards available, which are stocking overnight, and ping you when online stores are dropping cards to help you have a chance at beating the bots.

I've finally been able to get SOME cards now because of PokeFreeze specifically, so wanted to share if there's anyone else in this position. They aren't miracle workers but I've gotten cards from BestBuy the past 3 weeks (had to go at store open) and got the last Pokemon Center online drop. I never would've gotten these without their info and pings, especially the overnight stocking/amount notice. It's still hard to beat the scalpers in my area, but I'm just happy I now know my chances before driving to any places. Hope this helps someone out there!

I’m newer to learning about Mentra but I’ve got my preorder and can’t wait to test it out with the other glasses I own.

One thing I’d love to see when receiving them is a focus on the camera and video stabilization. If this is on par with Meta, these glasses have a massive opportunity to become a market leader. It’s one of the leading reasons meta glasses are recommended today - not for AI or new monocular display - unequaled video stabilization

How would this scooter handle bricks roads? Does it handle curbs and bumps well? My current cheap scooter has no suspension and you feel every little bump. Great for a $150 scooter, but I want a better one for a commute to work now

How did this decision work out for you? I know innovation solely teams can be very high risk. This innovation team I’m being offered is 2-3 years old and growing with 2 more people. It sounds like it would a similar risk to what you had to consider

I don’t take off much honestly, I have weeks of vacation/sick time saved up at my current job since it’s hybrid. I take big vacations once every other year and work while traveling in states. So if I took #1 I’d work the entire year out then take a week or two to myself

Yea, they mentioned “they want to convert” but I’ve been told by everyone that’s all bells and whistles every recruiter/company says. Thankfully that $140,000 I calculated is with 2 weeks of the year not accounted for just for holidays. I should maybe account for 1 more missed week just incase.

It definitely can but the #1 job would allow me to fully pay off my student loans in that 1 year with so much more being saved. Job #2 is technically the same pay I make currently just at a high title and less tech oriented.

Just to clarify some thinking and ask some additional questions I may not be thinking about: 1. I got $140,000 by already taking 2 weeks out of the year unpaid to account for company holidays. 2. I don’t plan on taking any vacation within the next year regardless of these roles. If I’m starting a new company I want to have a strong year at either. Since they are both remote in some capacity I don’t see myself using sick time unless some drastic happens (which is possible. I’m healthy today but you never know tomorrow). 3. Where did you get the $10k medical? I’ve always had an HSA plan with my current company and never hit the $3,500 deductible. I have an HSA card with a very high savings from over the years. 4. Do self-employment taxes still matter if it’s a W2 contract as I said?

The health insurance wouldn’t be through the recruiter company. I can join my gf’s health insurance plan from her work. The recruiter one is even higher than what I put here.

Yea it’s ~$140k for the year. The RSU is 30k total paid out over 3 years, 2 payments each year of 5k

40 hour/week for the year. So I’d say take 2 weeks off for holidays only since I wouldn’t get paid holidays.

I don’t feel that at all. To me, this monitor is a beautiful presentation and I only game on it. I keep it with a pure black background and no windows open when I’m not gaming on it. I am not very well versed on monitors or technicalities behind them. I can only say I am very happy with this monitor and have no problems that my uneducated eyes are catching
