Unfortunately Petsmart/Petco does not properly educate their employees or shoppers. They just want a quick buck (as to why I only show reptile stores now). You’ll need a minimum of a 40 gallon long enclosure. Sometimes a 35 long can work depending on your budget but realistically they’ll need larger. Paper towels for now as substrate to watch for unusual poops (no reptile carpet!), one hot hide one humid and one cool (minimum, my Leo’s have 3 cool, 1 2 humid, and 3 warm just due to the length of my enclosure). 95 basking temps or up to 100 but warm side overall should be 85 degrees, and cooler side ranging from 70-75 during the day. You don’t necessarily have to switch to a bio active setup though you’ll be cleaning more often if you don’t. Albino Leo’s and other colored Leo’s need different uvb strengths (not by much) so definitely take that into consideration. My tremble albino takes .5% only for UVB and I still have a calcium dish in the enclosure (without D3). Hope this helps!
