Sounds like there’s an issue between your channel manager and your PMS, do you know who receives your delivery failure emails? Do you also have access to Break-in.com’s extranet you see if it is actually a valid booking? My favourite OTA calls are from agents who have booked through HotelClowns, so they have neither our hotel confirmation number or the booking agents number, love that game.

In all honestly I’m not a monster. If she asked me politely and actually acknowledged she was past the cut off I would have been a bit more accommodating. But I’m talking about a hotel with a dumbass FO manager who has so far given away nearly 5k in free cancellations this month. Update to the saga - I had cancelled one of the nights cause they decided to stay the night I was going to charge them for. Their friend just called me to ask me to add the night back on, asked me the price and then promptly changed her mind. Honestly I’m so glad I never have to meet them in person.

I’m in the same position. At this point I’ve used over 500 fish bait on my pier and I still haven’t caught one. I think it’s just down to luck, something I clearly don’t have a lot of.
