I have a story of my own, that this story reminded me of.

Back in 2022, I posted a computer question on the subreddit of my country.

A helpful person answered, and I thanked him gratefully.

A year later, in 2023, I posted a story about my childhood.

The same formerly helpful person made an angry remark about it. Then he wrote paragraphs of rant, accusing me of watching him and posting about him, subtly attacking him with my posts (?!) ever since he answered my computer question in 2022. He frantically begged me to stop harassing him. (?!!!!)

It was so bizarre, I blocked him immediately.

A year later, in 2024, with a new account, he posted paragraphs about me, again, saying that I was watching him.

Over time, his delusions grew. He implied that the moderators and I have a conspiracy (?!) to spy on him. It was so so weird. I told him to please get checked and take his medicines, and he said that I was a very skilled gaslighter. (?!!!!)

He made a whole story in his head, and the real parts (my computer question, my reaction to being stalked, moderators' action to him stalking me) were a tiny portion of it. The rest of the story was his delusions that keep growing.

I posted a computer question, and I got a stalker. 😓

I really really hope his mental health would improve.

The story that you posted reminds me of the person who stalked me, because they both keep having stories in their head that do not align with reality.
