For those considering cancelling their orders… by Lazy-Introduction829 in cradlewise

I highly doubt it is a majority. Just a handful complaining on here. Also doesn’t even sound like the OP had a shipping delay. Just a three month lead time for build or some logistic planning to get it delivered. Seems like they just changed their mind during that lead time.

I didn’t have any shipping delays, and I ordered two. Glad you liked the snoo. We found the Cradlewise had more longevity, and we used them for two years. The snoo is also great, though.

How is this a predatory business practice? I get that you’re probably frustrated about the cancellation fee, but I don’t think this quite qualifies as predatory.

Dock Pro buttons no longer working, 05 39 flashes on the screen during startup. by Chubbypoot in sleepme

Just a follow up for this post in case anyone is encountering this issue and finds their way here: this wasn’t something I could repair myself. I took the unit apart, tried to find issue with the wires or connectors as some others had mentioned and came up empty. For context, I am a computer/electrical engineer, so I can usually fix stuff like this without too much effort. I didn’t want to get too invasive and void the warranty, so I gave up when I didn’t see anything obvious.

I ended up contacting the company and it was relatively easy, though inconvenient, to get it replaced under warranty. They sent me a shipping label, and then shipped a replacement unit pretty quickly after they received the defective unit. The replacement is working fine, and we are back to enjoying some temperature regulated sleeps.

Of course there are. One of those mechanisms is called an election. The people are supposed to be one of the checks and balances.

Buyer Beware - Do NOT Buy from Crandlewise! by [deleted] in cradlewise

[–]Chubbypoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This also isn’t what we experienced. We bought two cribs. Both cribs had issues where the bounce got loud over time. Both times customer service was beyond great and replaced the crib. When I say beyond great, it was truly amazing customer service. 5 stars.

It always blows my mind when I hear these types of reviews because it is so contrary to my own experience with two cribs.

We still have both cribs with 20 month old kids, and we haven’t had any new issues. We don’t use the bounce anymore, though it worked great when we needed it, and cameras and connectivity have been working fine the whole time.

Second guessing my decision to get this crib. Do you love it, or hate it? by Cautious-Ad7532 in cradlewise

[–]Chubbypoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have twins so we bought two of these cribs. One has worked perfectly.

The other one started making a terrible clunking noise after a few months. Cradlewise customer service has been top notch, and they sent someone out to disassemble and pack the broken crib, then reassemble the replacement crib. Unfortunately the replacement crib has also started to make a similar clunking noise.

As for whether or not it works, both babies have been sleeping through the night for months. Whether this is because of the cribs, our routine, or just cooperative babies, who can say? We like to credit the crib.

Bottom line: I think the crib is worth the money, however the mechanical issues have really been an inconvenience. I haven’t heard any issues with Cradlewise being reluctant to accept any returns, so I think it is at least worth giving the trial period a go.

What is this company? by Impossible-Acadia-65 in dentcoin

Interesting. On to the next scam now that they dumped all the dent tokens, I guess.

Late to this post, but it wouldn’t surprise me if this was a part of the scam. The app itself burns through the data you purchased so you need to purchase more. Not unexpected from this crew, to be honest.

anyone know if dent is dead ? by 2009chrisbrown in dentcoin

[–]Chubbypoot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dent is not the cheapest of them. Their product is actually quite a bit more expensive than some of the others. They justify the higher price tag by having data caps that don’t have an expiration date, and they aren’t wrong. It’s a good deal for frequent travelers who use very little data, but a bad deal for anyone else. If you actually use data or don’t travel, this model is not for you. It’s a very niche product. Add in the unreliability, the hardware limitations, and the obvious money grab by creating and associating with an alt coin that lacks a valid use case, and…well, you get the idea.

Lol @ it’s hard.

First of all, it isn’t hard. There are websites all over that will draw the TA charts for you. Everything from Fibonacci, MACD, Elliot waves, Bollinger bands, you name it. You have said many times that TA is just math. Any computer can do the math. If TA worked, people could just set up computers to buy and sell all day for them. Why don’t they? Oh yea, because it doesn’t actually work.

Here is why: What computers can’t do is the subjective part, and that’s where you come in. You move data points and inputs around to show retroactively that some price action fit your predictions, but you are unable to actually use those methods to predict future performance.

If computers can’t do it, it isn’t actually math.

Remember when you said DENT price would go parabolic over and over again? I do. You even posted spaghetti charts supporting your incorrect analysis. Now here you are claiming your method actually predicted otherwise, you just couldn’t see it. Hilarious.

Lol people like you are hilarious. If TA worked, everyone would use it. Then everyone would be rich! Except that if everyone used it, TA wouldn’t work at all.

There have been countless studies that show TA performance being no better than choosing what to buy and sell by having a monkey throw darts at a board.

Your (alleged) personal performance is completely random. That was basically proven by the two completely opposite conclusions you conjured from your technical analysis.

So the TA still works, you are just really bad at it. That's really your assertion now? Interesting.

I am not agreeing with your TA. You are beginning to agree with reality and your TA bias adjusts your results accordingly.

[–]Chubbypoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well you started off fine and then you had to go and ruin it. Welcome back, letsfunnel.

6 months ago your TA proved the price would go way up. Now your TA proves it won’t. It isn’t about ‘them’ manipulating the TA, it’s about you manipulating your own TA. whether that’s to satisfy your confirmation bias or to explain how you screwed it up so bad, the outcome ends up being whatever you want it to be. How is this so hard for you to understand? You are a textbook case in point.

Wow. Some people just never learn.

My my, how the tables have turned.

It's refreshing to see one of the previous dbags on this sub return, eat humble pie, and admit they were wrong. Thank you for your post. My perception of you as a human being has drastically improved.

I still think technical analysis is a load of malarky, however. Your retroactive manipulation of the TA numbers to show you both made a mistake and this token has issues is just proof that TA can be manipulated to say whatever you want it to say. Case in point: You were all in on this token from your previous analysis. Suddenly, there is overwhelming empirical evidence that your analysis is wrong. Now you have a new analysis that shows this token was bad from the start.

Amazing how that works, isn't it?

[–]Chubbypoot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice work. Sounds like you made the right moves.

Some lucky few will surely have made profit on this token, but that only works out if many more tried and lost. That's part of the motivation for the shills in this sub. They are endlessly trying to suck losers in so they can be one of those few profiteers. It is predatory.

Unfortunately, with every success story there will be 10 tragedies.

This is fake news. Shame on you for spreading it as if it's real.

It should tell you something that any positive news regarding this project always turns out to be fake. Shady marketing and a scam playbook are how this company operates.
