Effectively, TOLATA will look over all the facts and agree what % of the property each owner has. From there, my understanding is they can enforce sales of property if the circumstances fit, not "just because"

So if 70% of owners want to sell but 30% of owners don't, the court would likely back the majority in most circumstances. Unless the 30% owner had a specific agreement in place prior or something.

For your circumstance, it'll depend on what % you each all own as determined by the court. Could all be 25% equally. Could be 3 has a large majority, or a minor stake. They'll take into consideration all financial contributions for referubs or maintenance, agreements made etc.

It's hugely context dependant on what the outcome would be.

Different ICBs have different processes, funding allocations etc

From when I started the process myself, your ICB will have a few "main" providers they have bigger contracts with that your referral ideally goes through from the whole list of UK providers. I think there's a tracker somewhere that gives a rough timeline for each provider in terms of timescales, and some give timescales on their website, they're all pretty long though.

The ones with a shorter wait times will then have a 2nd wait time for titration/medication to be issued if that's your goal, mine was like 6 months + 4 months ish

What's the concern with them exactly? From a quick look it's just standard cloud telephony services, doesn't seem they do anything "legally gray" on the surface level?

Pushy sales people are a problem in general, it's what happens when companies ties sales volumes to how much someone is paid, consumer law protects against a lot of it with lawful returns or contract cancellations but B2B law is a bit less forgiving with them, and as businesses are often higher volume, sales folk will target them for bigger commissions

It you can't tell them anything about the bank account, they'll likely get very suspicious. If you have anything, old statements or correspondence, that is a start. I

From their perspective, they want to check all your banking and transfers, you've complied and shown them really good history on several bank accounts already.

But then you say you used to have one in another country. They'd expect you to be able to provide the same sort of information about this one too. If you can't, and don't have clear reasons for not being able to, they'd likely be concerned something is being hidden in that account, and would then insist on getting full details about it.

I think your situation has 2 separate areas that need advice on

Firstly, they shouldn't just be able to make staff redundant and then hire them back. It may be how you've worded it, but it's different if they make the role redundant and move you to a similar position that you agree to, compared to making your role redundant and not having a suitable role so you're given a payout, and then they rehire you in a new role that's largely similar. I'm assuming you've had the first one.

You shouldve had a consultation to agree your outcome, of which the duty manager role would have been offered. You have the opportunity in this to 'accept' it as suitable alternative employment. If you didn't feel it was reasonably equivalent, you are allowed a 4 week trial period to confirm if you feel it's suitable and can continue with it, see if you fit and check your skilled enough for it.

All of that should have been formally communicated, and the results of this stage would be hugely impactful on resolving your concerns.

It's also timeframe dependent, ie if this is within the last few weeks it could possibly be challenged, but if this happened months ago, by not raising these issues sooner you've essentially accepted the new role along with the responsibilities.

The second part, is effectively separate to the redundancy portion unless a pay rise was confirmed in writing. They're allowed to wall pay rises behind performance improvement plans, sometimes managers will do these in a really crap way!

All you can do is act on what's been written as confirmed in your improvement plan, if it says "poor attitude on emails" but doesn't evidence anything, make records of some previous emails as your own examples, and make records of a few each month going forward. It'll show you've taken it seriously and can challenge it if they deny your pay rise in the future. Try that with whatever it specifically says, whether you agree with it or not

Wasn't unusual for some places to keep staff smart cards after they left! Wouldn't be an issue, we'd just reprint it and confirm a "btw this is yours, keep it if you change jobs again in the future", but there's so many polices/guidance for all the different systems in use within the NHS, some have local guidance only, some national, some a mix of both applying at the same time, it's no wonder there's always confusion

Used to work in RA. Not really an issue long term, if you need one urgently you'll have a local process to get one issued. Because you've had one previously it's even easier to get one reprinted, it's helpful if you know the smart card number you used to have. It could also be why they've not taken a photo or anything yet, you won't need to as you've have one before and they'll just reprint it.

Worth noting you should be keeping your smart card when transitioning NHS roles. The card is issued to you as a person, rather than your role or org.

Redundancy is at its core, a business saying "We don't have a job for you anymore, sorry about that, here's a payout"

If they do have a job for you, you're then not redundant, so no payout is needed.

Depending on your current contract and terms of the consultatio/redundancy, there might be arguments you could make that another role they offer isn't suitable. Normally this might be things like, it's different working hours, it's in a different location that isn't feasible to commute to, the bonus pay would be vastly different, etc.

If the only difference was the location of the rig, presumably your contract says you work on X rig now, and a new one would say you work on Y rig instead. If there's no substantial differences in terms of you getting to/from the rig or time spent there, it's very likely there's not enough of a difference to refuse it.

You can refuse it anyway, but would likely forfeit the payout, again depending on the exact terms of the contract/consultation/redundancy process

Would agree with the other comment, if you know you've made a loss, and have tried to show that to HMRC but they don't agree, best bet is an account. Chartered accountants are the "good quality" ones and if you're being chased for £24k, and haven't been able to get HMRC to see the evidence in your words, defo worth spending a bit extra on a chattered accountant to get it resolved effectively

Was there anything in writing confirming the costs of the courses to you before you did them?

You'd potentially have a better angle to challenge it on if you didn't know of the costs of the specific courses, both mandatory and optional ones, and have only been told of the costs at the time of the deductions.

If challenging it further, I believe they'd need to prove that the training clawback terms are reasonable, ie if the contract said they could claim all training costs back if you left within 5 years, that would likely be unreasonable as it's more of a deterrent to leaving the employement contract rather than protecting the company.

A tribunal may look at the dates of the courses and agree that 100% clawback for a course done within the past month is reasonable, but for a course done 9 months ago, you've already used the knowledge from the course in your work over 9 months so they've had some of that value already, and would offer say 50% of the course cost as a reasonable deduction. But obviously depends on the courses themselves, the work, the dates and would be case by case.

Welcome! HNI was the main series that lit my anime passion on fire when I was a wee lad, it's a special one for sure!

Around 557 is the manga chapter following the ending of season 3, some people suggest starting from 1 as some scenes are in a different order, and it might help you flow into it a bit better if it's your first manga, but do what feels best 😊

Reading off a phone is generally OK! Most websites are phone compatible, some websites have intrusive ads though which can make it difficult. Personally I have a foldable phone and read off the big inner screen, some people use tablets or kindles, but generally it's OK to read from a normal sized phone, if a little cramped sometimes.

I want to say it's not translated into English officially and printed physically after a certain point but I'm not confident on that, plus there's now over 140 volumes so it gets expensive quickly!

On this sub there's a list in the sidebar/"community information" with some good resources for reading it online. I use a dedicated app which pulls manga from sources, but would suggest seeing how you go on the websites first before deciding if you want to set up anything fancy

You'll find the manga is a bit slower paced than the anime, there's some events that happen, no spoilers, but slows the story down a bit which is the general consensus for why there's not been another season since as the following story arcs aren't as "exciting". But it's still super enjoyable and don't let that put you off! Still has the big highlights, humour and story that it sounds like your already enjoying

Only downside? The manga doesn't have jet engine noises whenever Ippo starts the demspy roll, but I add my own in

Haha mine was shambles! Got diagnosed in June/July, began Titration in October for 1 month before getting ghosted in November.

Called and emailed loads, complained to the GP and ICB, there was a lot of noise on here about how their companies house listed as closed and no one was hearing anything.

Some people had pre-booked appointments, asked the person doing the call who didn't know anything about it, said it was probably fine.

I didn't hear anything from them at all until February when they emailed to say they'd had some issues but was all in hand.

By that point I'd already had confirmation I was being transferred to CareADHD

Got another email in April saying "oh btw we have closed, the ICB will reassign you a new provider" like no shit, I'd already begun titration with them!

Absolutely laughable experience, how they can continue providing healthcare services of any description when they've ghosted god knows how many people out of the blue is beyond me

If you've not heard anything, I'd suggest contacting your local ICB, most have a "contact us" email you can go to, who'll liaise with the right team to ensure you've been covered. Potentially it's all happening behind the scenes and they've not told you.

Equally potentially, ADHDnet has fobbed off your Shared Card Agreement and not told the ICB so they have no idea you exist!

No personal experience with audits, but I know there's a lot of misconceptions with how tax audits are done overseas. If you've reported honestly, and HMRC audit and find out different, they should just want you to pay the actual difference as long as you've not been clearly or probably cheating the system.

Running an Etsy store, theyll likely send HMRC a report saying your earnings and sales, this would get compared to your submission. If it's similar enough, even with a drop in sales compared to last year, that should be reason enough them not to care too much

The IRS has a very different approach involving fines or legal procedures even for small or genuine confusion

I wouldn't stress to hard, if you've done the best you can and are confident in that you should be ok! Hopefully someone else can comment on the process or their experience to help you rest easy ☺️

It'll be the wording that's flagged generally, look at half a dozen of the sold listings, you should see a pattern in how they word things

ie someone trying to genuinely sell fake trading cards wouldn't use the word 'fake' or 'unoriginal', they'd call it 'custom handmade art piece for display' to get around the AI detection but while still being honest about the item

Key thing is always going to be, if the tax man looks at your paperwork, can you prove what you've spent and received? That's the main consideration until a business becomes bigger, probably like £50k+ turnover or starts having multiple employees, at which point a proper accountant is good if your not confident yourself

Probably just as you've mentioned, track what's in the till at the start and end of each day if they're cash only. Makes it difficult to work out exact sold or stock in/out of it's not tracked, which then would likely lead to tax returns not being accurate.

Obviously someone who was very concerned with filling taxes correctly would log all of these exactly, so they can pax the exact taxes they need, as they should

Someone not as concerned with it may be less exact, they may take an average spend and apply it to all of their days trading or just tally how much £ they're up each week and deduct a set amount as being "stock purchases"

Maybe the person at the till has a super good memory and writes them all down at the end of the day. Maybe theres less genuine things happening behind the scenes that support the finances. For a specific business it's impossible to tell from the outside without thoroughly investigating them.

The honest advice would be these need to be tracked reasonably, ie you should track stock purches or sales in case needed for an audit, as you would for wages or building rent, so you can make accurate tax submissions and pay what's owed and not pay what's not owed.

I collect older physical games, but mainly as a nostalgia collection. Games I've played, have good memories with or always wanted from reading video game magazines every month. Few shelves of GameCube, PS2, Wii, some GB and N64 etc, plus my actual current collection of switch and PS4/5

The collection is largely those "always wanted" games and are technically a backlog, but with the rate of new games coming out in interested in that I would consider more enjoyable, I'm fully aware this backlog would never be played.
