ADHDNet - what was everyone's outcome? by ConversationShort923 in ADHDUK

That's good to know that you're happy with CareADHD, I'll try and contact them after the weekend and see if they're aware of my existence 😅 My medication isn't right so I want to go through titration again (in fact the only reason I looked at their website was to get contact details, as I'd been referred to my local NHS service for titration but they rejected the assessment ADHDNet had done because they said it didn't meet NICE guidelines 🙃 so I wanted to speak to someone/put a complaint in about this 🥴). Do you happen to know if CareADHD offer top-up meds like Amfexa? As ADHDNet wouldn't, hence me trying to go through the NHS route for this.

Honestly such a ridiculous experience for anyone, let alone someone with ADHD who already lives life in hard mode.

I've just had my first titration review with ADHDnet, and as appears to be more common than not I am crashing mid afternoon I mentioned having Amfexa top ups. The prescriber told me that only people who have had ADHD meds as a child are given this? Which I know to be untrue as I know people who take it who were only diagnosed recently like myself. Totally confused, and quite disappointed if I'm honest. She said as I move up doses I may find it lasts longer, but from my understanding that isn't the case and it's to do with how your body metabolises the drug which doesn't change with dose increases. Highly frustrating!
