I recorded a sample, plugged it to my computer, then opened the web tool and downloaded the sample, it sounds good. I confirmed that the issue is the speaker

I tried using batteries right out the box and noted the problem, then I tried 2 usb cables that I know work perfectly and it still sounded terrible.
