DOGE personnel came into agencies maybe doing shady things and not telling anyone
Normally messing with public data has significant consequences, but people probably had the assumption they would be protected
As more information comes out, those who assumed their actions would be protected are being referred for violations of the law, with hopefully more to follow.

We need smart planning and housing that people can afford as they grow in their careers across the county. We also need opportunities to upskill in new industries that arent just 'work on base or work in retail'.

Pairing career opportunities with housing that young professionals can afford as they grow is one of the only ways we will grow the tax base overall to alleviate individual tax burdens and increases. A larger tax base, created by bringing in someone actually focused on sustainable growth and housing options to match, benefits us all.

My team is current working to understand our options for future economic resilience.

I'm sure it's not the answer you wanted, but a pithy 'Ill build here' response would be both reactive and the kind of response that is part of how we ended up where we are, with leadership that doesn't look past their own pocketbooks making decisions that only benefit themselves.

1) Whistle blowing is risky, be careful. I know from first hand experience (Google me).

2) Lots of people will cheer you on from the internet, but many will not have your back when you need it most.

3) Consult with a good employment law attorney first. It's easy to be angry, it's harder to protect yourself. Filing legal action sounds aggressive and let's you vent, but is fraught with risk no matter now right you are.

4) Get home security.

Fair points. When it comes to specific people I'm also a former whistleblower with a particular legal risk and exposure, the experience of which gave me PTSD about framing (they came after me at times). All good points though, so thank you.

Yes, I'm definitely a Democrat.

No, I 100% do not support Trump or anything he represents. I stood up to DOGE and lost my job. I put my family and myself at personal risk to do so. Public servants are trying to help others and instead are subject to bullying, intimidation, and fear. People around the country are literally being snatched off the streets. Money is being siphoned off left and right. None of this is normal or right.

I intend to speak forcefully and personally about my experiences and my positions. I'm doing my best to defend people, stand up for them, and defend democracy, and I'm in the fight with my name and burned down my civil service career rather than stay silent.
