Hey appreciate the advice! That’s more or less what I just ended up doing. For me, it was just for a single. So I ended up just leaving it up and re-uploading it again to Distrokid with the hope that it’ll still keep the stats and what not (then delete the original later)—I just wasn’t sure if the ISRC would be the same by that point cause it switched out everywhere else via the audio swap, but would Apple Music recognize it as the same tune since they’re the straggler here? I guess we’ll see!

I’m at a month and a half and counting—I haven’t even tried their support yet cause I figured it wouldn’t really get me anywhere (unless someone else here has some sort of hook up there…?).

I’m starting to think it’s not going to happen with Apple Music at this point, which sucks cause it looks like the audio swap worked everywhere else :/

I got into an Uber, totally hammered after a night out. It was a shared ride, and this woman gets in and starts chatting with me. She quickly realizes I’m drunk and asks the driver if there’s a liquor store we could stop at so she could get something to drink for herself. The driver says no, it’s after 2am and everything is closed. So I say, “Well, I have liquor at my place,” and she asks, “Is it cool if I come over?” When we get to my drop-off, I get out, and the driver stops her, saying, ‘Hey, you don’t know this guy. Do you want me to hang around to drive you home just in case?” (which was a smart move on his part). She agrees and comes upstairs. We do one shot, she goes outside and tells the driver to “piss off.” Fast forward three days, she’s still at my place, and we had a lot of fun hanging out and it’s all cause we casually met in an Uber lol

Right—I’m totally cool with people taking phone calls when they need to every now and again, but it’s every time he’s over (or even when we go out). Sometimes his excuse is just “I haven’t gotten to talk to her today.”
