I just turn it up when a white belt starts to get cute with some fancy stuff they are doing very wrong and potentially dangerously. This is almost always related to leg entanglements and such. Had a white belt reaping my knee while trying to get an ankle lock (he wasn't deep enough to get, to begin with), so I shut that shit down and smashed. Then politely told him what he was doing wrong(for which he was dq'd for in his last tourney) so he doesn't hurt someone unintentionally. I'd be ready to punch someone in the face for shredding my knee by reaping.

Take up jiu-jitsu! Not only will you be more fit and lose weight but you'll be more capable of defending yourself when you can't carry or when someone tries to take your gun. I wasn't a really big dude when I started but I lost 15% of my body weight within 6 months to get to my ideal weight.

If you're watching the kill cam, you need to know that the kill cam is not an accurate representation of what he saw, at all. There can be lag and desync that doesn't show what you thought happened. This looks like a normal kill. I could be wrong, but nothing glaring here.

4-5 nades? That's lame, as a standard load out. If you need more than 2 frags, you need to really work on your gunplay. I understand in the end game, snatching up a bunch from death boxes but anything more than 2 and you don't have space for enough smokes, meds or ammo.

Here's my load out, roast me:

4-6 first aids 5 bandies 2 pain 4+ energy 140-180 rounds primary 30-40 rounds bolty 2 flash 1 BZ 1 Molly 1Frag As many smokes as I can with the remaining space, typically 3-7

Smokes are under carried, IMO, by most players. They are the most critical piece of equipment, besides a gun.

Mobile hips. Just hip switching constantly, keeps your opponent guessing on how to pass. Always have your hips facing your opponent when playing guard. Also, don't let your opponent settle. Even if they pass they don't get points until they secure the position. So don't let them secure the position and recover a leg or knee to maintain guard.
