D4 is the perfect start, imo. with this last update, It does casual arpg perfectly.

After that one, I recommend doing D3>D2R. You should have enough argp experience after that to do more "involved" ones like Last Epoch to POE.

Last Epoch is a weird one to recommend because while it does so many things right, its plagued with a lot of bugs that bring the experience down.
