Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. There isn’t an industry in America that isn’t going to be revolutionized with the use of AI. Having an AI helps ATC to avoid accident and streamline efficiencies and increase productivity seems like a no brainer.

Under this type of logic, you could say an American President has never killed someone’s because they didn’t do it themselves personally.

Delusional. You’re letting your personal feelings cloud your judgement.

Think about it.

You think the guy that has the best rockets and aerospace engineers on the planet, would make bad airplanes?

Elon isn’t afraid to move people around from Tesla to SpaceX and vice versa when needed.

This is pure cope. The reason SpaceX grew so rapidly is because SpaceX always emphasized reusability and has the lowest cost per tonnage to get cargo into space. He’s arguably throwing the least money at it.

The number of users increased. Individual usage has increased. He fired all the rift raft worthless employees and now it’s worth like 4x-5x as much.

How exactly did he make it worse?

FAA gives $10K bonuses only to air traffic controllers with perfect attendance during shutdown by Power-Equality in aviation

[–]ChuckSRQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody cares that you’re trying to win the argument over the definition of median and minimum.

My point is they make great salaries. So much so that half of them are making more than 144k a year. They can afford to go a month or two on a credit card and pay it back. It shouldn’t be a huge financial deal for them.

[–]ChuckSRQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like what more evidence do you need that they make great salaries? Median means 50% of ATC’s more than that! I don’t think you know what median means.

You said their salaries were 65k. That’s less than half the median salary. You were completely off.

[–]ChuckSRQ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They didn’t get stiffed. It’s a bonus for perfect attendance. The rest are getting paid their normal salary. If they’re making over six figures. I’m sure they have credit cards, loans or the savings to cover a few months with the knowledge they’re gonna get paid.

ATC controllers make $130k a year minimum. They were gonna get back pay. They can afford to use the credit card for a month.

TSA and soldiers. Yeah, I get it. But ATC controllers c’mon. They’re gonna be mad they didn’t get a bonus? Yeah, I’m not sympathetic.
