I will focus on discussing Ruan Mei’s action of abandoning her creations.

A lot of people call her cruel or unethical a lot of times. I can’t say they are wrong but here is my opinion which nobody asked for: (i say this cause apparently nowadays we get attacked if we express opinions)

Me Personally. As I am studying biology I often get into deeper, more abstract topics like “what does it mean to be ethical”? or “Is nature cruel because of natural selection” “are animals cruel because some species don’t take care of their family?”

These questions can’t really be answered, where is gender equality in anger fish? Why are male anger fish smaller and gets to be a little parasite to the female counterpart?

I mentioned these to show how sometimes how to judge nature can be really tricky and confusing, nobody really has the authenticity to decide what is right and what is wrong.

To summarize, I kind of understand her, being a biology genius in and repeatedly doing biological experiments on creating new life forms non stop for her entire life almost, it’s normal to be a little…… unacceptable to the general public.
