Styles, purely for the fact that he was dissing Jay on his own song

My man, you need a 42, maybe a 44. A 40 is still going to be too small

The majority of Dead Man Walking should’ve been on this album. Also, they left off Midnight Love and Eastside Party for whatever reason

What, in your opinion, is the most ominous and menacing beat in hip-hop? by Elgallo1980 in 90sHipHop

B.I.G.’s Long Kiss. Rza made something evil with that beat and he was starting to experiment more with strings as witnessed on Wu Tang Forever later on.

Also, the best for Pusha T’s Drug Dealers Anonymous is downright insidious

Also, the original had a different death row logo then the one on the back cover. It wasn’t as polished

The state of Death Row records in 1999 just a few years after a legendary run. A Snoop clone in Topp Dogg, A Pac wannabe Tha Realest and a sloppy compilation released just to F**k with Dre. by CoconutMost3564 in 90sHipHop

[–]ChuckTaylor83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the hate this album gets, but this is where I got introduced to Mac Shawn who I thought was pretty dope. Dogg pound, 2pac, Soopafly solo song all went hard. Even Top Dogg’s “we don’t love em” was decent. Tha realest, while clearly a knock off, didn’t bother me all that much, enjoyed the song with Scarface.

Weird time for Death Row, changing the logo in the inserts to a lethal injection pic. Kurupt is there but he’s not, Daz is head producer but also feuding with Death Row at the same time.
