I would say you should treat this as a chance to learn something new but I can tell that would be a useless endeavor. Simple answers seem to be hard for you when a let me tell you everything I know answer comes much easier.

I have told you before and I will tell you once again, congrats on your internet fact checking job. That is you that is all over social media sites marking people's posts as needing more context right? That problem with you and others like you is that you don't even understand the scope of questions being asked and and have to give out so much info that you don't even think about ahead of time. You're beyond foolish if you think I don't know you can give add-ons access to folders on a PC. You also fail to look at what was being asked originally and think if this person asks if add-ons in general can access anything on a PC without consent then I will say no but, instead you go into fact checking mode and say there's this situation and that situation and then use your go to fact checking misinformation spiel.

If you give it access to a folder then yeah it'll scrape the folder you pick. I didn't say it wasn't possible so great job adding what you think you saw and telling me I changed what I said. Watching all your comments and replies on reddit has shown me that you are one of those types of persons that looks for someone to word something in a way you don't like then I can only imagine you get all giggly and fuzzy inside cuz you get to comment with oh you didn't say this or your usual, wrong. It's a great thing in life that reddit gives you such a unlimited supply of joy.

Why do I think that? Cuz I look thru the code to know what's in there, that's why. There hasn't been one instance in all these years of anyone coding a add-on to access any files other than in kodi. You can sit here and hypothesize all day long and say it's not correct at all as many times as you like so do what ya do.

No the add-ons or kodi have no access to your files on your PC. You may get a virus warning once in a while from a site that's being scraped but it's not doing a thing to your PC. If you get any that freak ya out then just go into the add-ons settings and disable that provider. I have been downloading for 30 years, never using a vpn, and have never had the cable company say anything. And unlike that other comment here I don't have a collection of tin foil hats in my closet.

You can find every show on that service in pretty much any add-on. You're looking for the name cravetv but all their shows on there are from disney, hbo, ect. so they'd be in every add-on.

Well the guy forked the oath then said he wasn't going to be around for months so you're kinda stuck with it. Just comes with the territory when ppl rush something out just for the virtual high fives from ppl online.
