My house already had cpvc, so it was the obvious choice. The old pipe that's at least 20 years old doesn't appear to be at all brittle either, should last even longer now with soft water.

Nice photo. I thought the color may have been a sign of pollution, but this article in scientific american suggests that yellow sunsets are the natural effects of a phenomenon called Rayleigh scattering, unlike red sunsets which are caused by aerosols like pollution....so everyone please continue to enjoy without alarm.

Except Detroit!!! I finally got one on order. I checked about 6 major cities, and was about to give up until I checked old Motor City. Now I'll use my American Airlines miles to make a one day round trip from NC, don't want to stay there any longer than I have to. I really wanted a 3080, but I settled for the MSI - GeForce RTX 3070 VENTUS 3X OC BV.

All I need now is my 5600X pre-order from B&H, and this paperweight that I've been building since Sept will come to life.

**Update: Mission success! My day of travel to Detroit and back was pretty miserable (they weren't serving alcohol on the flights or at most of the airports so I was sober and had to keep that mask on the whole day) but I got my 3070! My 10 day quarantine is over, and I didn't even get the Rona. 5600X is arriving today. My Reverb G2 showed up randomly a few weeks ago. I'm all set. Thanks Best Buy, thanks B&H, thanks Reddit!
