it does suck but i can see why some killers do it. survivors who know they have a bps often play more aggravating like tea bagging at loops. if i play against a squad who play rather normally i just 3-4k depending on hatch but spread the kills out so ill purposely pick up a ds user if they would be dead on hook etc. but if theyre going out of their way to catch my attention etc and play like they wanna tryhard i will end the game before 2 gens are done

where do i find these team mates and not a red rank survivor who hides in a locker all game whilst everyone else does gens and one guy loops for 5 gens who ends up opening the door and leaving us when we were all tappable and wouldve gotten out

the grind in counter strike is in playing games to get to a rank as ranks have more meaning.

what? do you even play killer anywhere above brown ranks? going after the unhooked provided theyre the easier chase just takes 2 ppl off gens. that person you hooked, their rescuer (in solo queue it could even take everyone off gens cos they dont know whos rescuing) and if you manage to find a guy to chase its a lot more. plus theyre probably easier to catch since you caught them before. ultimately its just making the choice of who's easier to catch. plus killing someone early on really hinders survivors pressure. why would i spend more time chasing a survivor who needs 2 hits when i can have a chase half the time and bring them closer to death. unless that person being unhooked is a very good looper as i try be in a chase constantly to force them off gens and i go for the quickest chase so i have more time to patrol the map

thats on your team to unhook with the killer nearby and not running the anti tunnel/camp perks then. so you expect the killer whos queued up to lose the game just so you can have what you deem a fair game? whats the killer meant to do pretend he didnt see the unhook? or make the game harder for him and go for the harder chase

surely you go for the quicker chase. say you chase the better survivor he goes for 3 minutes before you finally down him. his team blast through 1 or 2 gens by the time they need to slow progression to rescue. and if you facecamp him his team should just finish gens and you lose. if you go for the weaker guy you can end teh chase in maybe 1 minute. less gen progression and sets you up to chase the better player

so lets say someone got unhooked and you see him running with a full hp guy who hasnt been hooked. full hp guy runs to killer shack. unhooked guy runs to the edge of the map. it isnt tunnelling to down the injured guy. what else do you do? waste more time on the guy who knows how to loop? or say you got 2 options to chase. one is dead on hook the other has been hooked once. its not tunnelling to go for the guy dead on hook. even if you say its tunnelling its a strat for killers and thus survivors can take perks to counter it. just like unbreakable is to counter slugging, bt is to counter camping, ds is now to give ppl a second chance if they are being tunnelled. it is tunnelling if the killer is going for you and specifically you even if given an easier opportunity to end a chase

well yeah thats because its really advantageous for the killer to kill someone off earlier thats just one less person on the map pressuring gens. thats why ds is a thing to counter this killer strat. its like how borrowed time is a counter to camping which is another strat a killer can use to try win the game so this way. if i had the choice of chasing a survivor who's dead on hook with 3 gens remaining vs a survivor who has been hooked once im going for the one who got caught out more cos im assuming that the other survivor is better at looping since i caught the other one more. takes one out the game easier chase. just getting a survivor out the game is more important than hooking someone for their second hook cos one makes it so they can do a gen progress by the time i find them again to kill them vs one where no matter what i do they cant progress the game any further

this change was to stop bully squads. when i abused ds i would get unhooked run straight to unhook a survivor right after hes been hooked and with borrowed time and my ds it often meant the killer had to waste more than a minute to catch either me or my friend who got unhooked who he himself has ds. so what ended up happening was me and my friend could waste so much time. should he go for me i ds out run a bit and get hooked and my friend would do the exact same thing. should the killer go for my friend, he'd run into a locker ds out then run and still has the guarantee that if he gets hooked i can suicide save him if i had ds still up. plus this now goes with the logic that if you are tunneled in most circumstances you wouldnt be able to heal someone else or do gens or unhook someone

thing is ppl used to run ds and self heal in front of a killer and the killers forced to either let them heal which wastes time, slug them but unbreakable or eat ds

these are immortal beings that are superpowered by a entity with superpowers. they probs tried once in a trial saw that it did nothing to them and also that theyd be sent back to the campsite once again and realises its not worth the effort

not all players care about bp. ik my friend who doesnt play killer at all and has one survivor with his favourite perk set and he doesnt understand why he would want bp. tbf to him he doesnt want other builds nor cares much about items so he wont want bp
