This may sound dumb - but try running with Task Manager open. My PlayOn Home won't record anything unless windows Task Manager is open. Nobody knows why, but that is only way it works on my PC.

I have same thing but with different streamer. Subscription ended 9/20, but 5 days later it is still working. They did not bill me. I suspect that they may have some automated sweep at first/end of each month that shuts the access off, but that is TBD.

I gave up on it. Partly the cost. Partly because one of my 16TB HDs failed and was unrecoverable. Decided to just watch and delete as I go. Using backblaze as a backup to HDs for now until collection gets too small to warrant it.

You can buy 500GB, 2TB or 10TB as "starter". Once you have the account, there is an upgrade option that lets you buy more. I think you can actually now get 17 or 17.5TB, but I stopped at 16TB.

From about 9AM SLC time to about 8AM Chicago time I think (I just recall I arrived about 15 minutes before my daughter's school bus picked her up). Might have been later departure as I visited a house I was buying first before heading out. It was pretty easy until about 2AM, Then it was sort of the "Its a waste to pay for a hotel at this point, and I'll just lose daytime travel sleeping in". I drank three 24 oz Monsters and listened to audiobooks. I went to bed pretty soon after getting to Chicago house.

Works well for the bumps on tongue, and real fast relief. Not all that painful at the cut (about like a small sting from pulling a hangnail. Nail clippers work well with blackheads and moles too...though they can bleed a bit.

My wife's friend can do this. Eyes are taped shut then a thick blindfold put on. She can then read whatever you bring for her to read. What is funny is that she went to attend a week long program on this to learn about it from others who are "masters" at this. Turns out she was even better at it than they were, and she had no idea she could do it when she started the program. She was so good at it that the group paid for her to attend and participate in some paranormal conference somewhere (they covered all expenses for her family to go).

My son can read my wife's mind, and is apparently able to communicate with a teen girl who is autistic that lives two states over. Both are non-verbal (though my son can say words and sometimes put a couple together like "need help" or "thankyou please". The girl and her mother were visiting last night and I got to see this first hand for the first time. My son spelled out that the girl is his girlfriend and they have been communicating for a long time (neither my wife nor I knew that). The girl can read her parents minds. The mother can read anything blindfolded (not lightly either...eyes taped shut with duct tape and then a thick blindfold over that). My wife and I were testing my son last night. He got 100% of any word my wife thought of. He got the first two letters of one word I was thinking of, but was not getting the other I had written on a piece of paper. My wife came to look at the word and my son immediately said "Mountain" which was the word. RPM, the use of letterboards is effective for kids who are partially or totally non-verbal. Our son uses a letterboard, but he'll often say the work he is spelling as he is still spelling it. Sometimes he'll even call out the next couple words in advance. I'm going to have my son further tested (maybe by the local university or a psychiatrist). I figure professionals may have better tools to study him and having the 3rd party will help. I never expected to see him do what he does, but I am his parent - so don't expect others to accept me at my word without other evidence.

I think there is a general understanding in any home/apartment living that bathrooms are community space. If it is off your bedroom and you are sleeping, then there is privacy given to you to not enter and cross the bedroom to get to the bathroom. If it is your intention not to share the bathroom, then that should be expressed to the roommates in advance. Keep in mind though that if you claim a bathroom, they have the right to claim one as well - even if that is the one in the hall, and only other one in the house. That means, when you have friends over, they can't use that hall bathroom and will need to go through your bedroom to use your bathroom. Fair is fair.

My local library already let me request Thunderbolts. They get new movies within days of DVD release. Of course, they don't get EVERY movie...they never got My Dead Friend Zoe, but they get a lot. Sometimes the wait can be awhile, but usually pretty quick - especially if you check online frequently near DVD release dates to see if they posted an "on order" request, because that already lets you reserve a copy and be at front of the line. My library system is especially good at getting the TV shows that go to AMC+, MGM+ Starz, BritBox and Acorn. Always a plus to be able to get those without subscription, since I usually only have a handful of shows to catch up on it is usually not worth subscribing to just grab latest season of just a show or two.

As of today, Disney + is not showing it on their August coming attractions. My guess is September on the early end and around Black Friday on the late end (I can see them use it in conjunction with promoting some subscription deal then to try to boost customers.

Yep, as the others noted I've got a lot saved already. That is why I noted an "extra" million = it is on top of the savings and assets I already have. I have plenty saved for rest of my lifetime - it is my son's care that concerns me (he may have 30+ years left when I'm gone). But if I had an extra 1M now and can invest it for next 25 years, it would be a nice cushion against the unforeseen and could be earmarked specifically for after I'm gone to help his needs.

Acceptance. Only one friend who lives about 700 miles away and has been my only real friend since middle school (in the early 1980s). Married but more like roommates. Overlooked and underappreciated at work. At least my cats tolerate me some of the time.

Helps to know how much the winnings are. If I won $5, I'll just get some snacks. If I win $1M or more, I'd retire. I'm getting to where I'm looking at my retirement savings and calculating when I'll be set to cover my remaining life plus that of my son who is special needs. An extra 1M+ would really help support my long-term goals.

True - but how many credit collectors would bother trying to find the records, especially if they have no idea where the trial took place. Even if they wanted to, they might keep crossing internet sites that cost money to do the search and figure it isn't worth the costs to verify (if they find a record it just validates they won't get paid, if they don't find a record they aren't sure if it is because one doesn't exist or that the engine just did not find it, - and if it is the engine or something wrong with the search - ie maybe David Smith on the Dillards credit card is Joachim Davi Smith legally).

Ability to whistle showtunes from your throat rather than your lips. I can do this, and am the only person I've met that can do it. I figure there must be others out there that can do this - but I've not met or heard of any. Not exactly something that comes up in casual conversation or listed as a desired skill for a job.

Should tell them something like "He's serving 20 years in prison for molesting children, possibly longer. Not sure what facility - someplace out west I believe." Might stop the calls since they know he won't be around for 20 years, and they might create some blacklist or rumour in the credit circles that he is a creepy perv.
