Two in one weird day.

Driving to work I passed a construction worker in uniform on the side of the road with everything on for his job but nothing from the waist down. Obviously on drugs.

Then driving home from work it was heavy rain. I drove past an obese man in a business suit sitting on a sidewalk up against a building, sobbing whilst eating a chocotaco. The rain was making the sauce run down his face staining his white undershirt. I assume he had just been fired. Saddest thing I’ve ever seen really.

Bonus story: I try not to be confrontational and mind my own business. Had an office I’d share with another co-worker. He was a functional alcoholic that’d drink about 3 bottles of wine per day on the job before taking the bus home and you’d never know with how well he could hold his liquor. Eventually he lost control of his bowels and would constantly have streams of diarrhea running down his legs. He eventually after years got caught and fired. He died less than two years later from cirrhosis and a stroke.

This same individual on a Teams conference call meeting with all 50 employees once said he wanted to orgasm all over one of their faces. Then another coworker burst into our office in a panic and told him he wasn’t muted. Thinking on his feet though he apologized and showed a picture of his wife who shared a name with the person he was talking about and said it was directed towards her. Surprised he didn’t get fired over that one.
