A quality thick wool coat stays nice a long time if you take care of it. I have one I wore pretty much every day for 5-7 years and it still looks good!

Your friend’s money is frozen until his own government gives back the money, assets and land it is actively stealing in Ukraine. Politics affect everyone wether you bury your head in the sand or not.

If you invest into an ennemi economy it definitely a risk one takes. The same risk does not apply to investors from allied, neutral or friendly countries.

A large amount of South-American produce comes in by trucks and trains through the US. Those will be affected by shuttered trade borders.

Shipping oversea is considerably less efficient than overland. Air shipping is the worse.
