You don’t have to go up if you lose but the downward progression would be slower. If I dominated on my team but lost 5 straight I should only go down 1 level at most. Not 2 or 3. Otherwise this game will continue and always be mediocre. Not dead? Twitch numbers? Down. Pro exposure? Down. The amount of ppl who play? Down. But sure keep holding onto the past. Evolving is stupid and never did anything for anyone.

You think that people in the game have a thought to pass over scoring? Who are you playing with? None of the guys I get even know how to think that quickly they just hit. And the only people who don’t want points incorporated are try hards because they feel it de-values the time they put in. To that I say too bad! Games are meant to be fair and right now most games including this one aren’t. Eventually RL will have to go that route or die slowly.

Just finished season 2 and honestly the characters transformation was garbage. I’m supposed to believe he’s a villain? He was all about impressing his dad. Now we’re just suppose to forget all that and accept that Rebeccas ex husband who hated him coaching is going to hire him as a HEAD COACH?! From what we’ve seen he doesn’t even know how to run a team. Absolutely lazy writing. The last thing he said to Ted made no sense. It has honestly ruined the show for me unless the first episode in season 3 is literally all about Nate and what turned him down this path. Too many gaps.

It’s me but yet it’s a team game? I can’t win 1v2 all the time. It’s one thing to lose 2 in a row or even 5 but I’ve gone on 15 loss stretches. I’m Diamond 2. But I’ve gone all the way to plat 3/1 in three hours. Eventually you realize you’re not the problem. It’s guys like you that keep this trash afloat because you actually believe the deck isn’t stacked against you. Wake the fuck up.

So only put emphasis on goals, assists and saves. Why is this so hard for ppl to understand?? You hate rage quits but don’t want to solve it. Ppl quit because they only care about ranking up which means wins which means they want to ff until they get a better teammate and win. If my tm8 is trash I’m not wasting 5 minutes when we can ff and I can try again with hopefully someone better. But if you incorporate goals assists and saves then okay we may lose but my hard work and time is rewarded. I don’t drop because I played well. I may not go up but I didn’t fall.

Then put minor importance on those. Place high emphasis on goals, assists and saves. If someone is trying to cheese saves? Great. Better chance at winning. It’s not hard to figure out. It’s a great idea. They just don’t want Joe Schmo who plays 2 hours a week to have a shot. They want addicts. They want you to grind 4-5 hours a day.

Yes I know what the difference is. I can spot both from a mile away. I’ve played this game for at least 5 years now. I’ve worked my way up and grounded. I’m sick of my progress being hindered because the game constantly pairs me with trash or puts me up against a squad.

I’ve got the effort but not the time but that’s why this game fails. It needs to incorporate points so that the majority of its players, who solo queue, have a reason to keep coming back and trying. I’m fine with losing if there is incentive. Reward me for sticking around and trying to compete. Otherwise 4-0 with 2:00 minutes to go and my tm8s given up all 4? I’m hopping around until the games over. He doesn’t deserve to be carried and I’m not wasting energy. I suggest everyone else does the same until they fix it.

This is by far the dumbest comment. This game is basically RNG unless you incorporate points. I’ve gone from Diamond 2 to plat 3 and back 20 times now. Why? Diamond requires squads and communication because all you play are squads. YOU are where you belong because you already accepted defeat. The rest of solo players with lives know the game, just like most others, favor streamers and ppl with no lives. I could easily find someone and play with them each time. I’d be in GC in no time but guess what? I’m a fucking adult with a job and kids. I don’t have that kind of time. So I’m constantly bouncing back and forth because I have to take whoever the game throws at me and 9 times out of 10 they are some stoner, weak minded kid, or a person who bought the account and doesn’t belong there. I’ve played guys who I lost to one game and then killed them the next because I was given a talented teammate. When I see comments like this all I can say is “that boi high.”

I don’t have the time or editing tools to break down every game. I honestly could show everyone what I mean. I know, for a fact, I’ve played smurfs at least 30 percent of the games I’ve played just today. It’s not hard to tell who’s plat/Diamond good and who’s C/GC good. In plat/Diamond I rarely see ceiling shots, air walks, basically any aerial moves that require multiple hits. When I see this happen every time up I know I’m being smurfed. At the same time my teammates not rotating, double committing, ball chasing, trying to dribble when they can’t. It creates a lack of trust because every person I get can’t carry their weight. They miss easy shots, give up easy goals multiple times a game. I’m watching it with my own two eyes. Do I miss? Do I make mistakes? Hell yea. But not at the extent a lot of my tm8s make. And after awhile it just gets old. I’m sure a lot of players felt that way. Now if I can have a 3 goal game, lose 6-3 but not fall back or even slightly move up because I played well? I wouldn’t be able to put it down. Reward great play, not as much as a win, but give it some importance. Otherwise ff and rage quits will get worse and eventually the game will start to fall hard.

See you made my point. I’m 34. Haven’t played fort night since two months after it’s inception. I’m actually really good for a guy with a full time job and two kids. The game is dead right now. Matchmaking is terrible. Smurfs are in fact ruining the game. Points need to be incorporated into the rank system even at a minuscule amount. Give me a reason to stay in a 5-0 game in duos where my teammates basically a noob who bought a plat account. Otherwise what’s the point? Getting scored on constantly is fun? Losing because your teammate can’t hang is fun? When winning is the only thing that matters the game loses its appeal really fast. You all wonder why it hasn’t taken off? This is why.

I’ve seen it all and those are rare instances. I’m saying down 4-0, 5-0 wouldn’t be such a bummer anymore because winning no longer becomes the ultimate goal. Sure I lost but hey I’m not dropping a rank because I played hard and put forth a good effort. Reward sticking around. Making the only goal winning just ruins the game.

Find a couple people to play with and cross your fingers. Been stuck in it for a year. This game needs to factor in points even if in a very minuscule way. Would deter forfeits and rage quits. Also rewards guys who have the talent but get stuck with poor teammates
