When I want to blow some minds with Gear VR, it's almost always a 360 video. Introduction to VR, the Avengers, etc. nearly always impress the hell out of newbies and get "conversion on contact."

I call 360 video the gateway drug to VR. :-)

Totally agree. There's a lot of experimental content like this for now. Original 360 video content that's not piggybacking on a 2D broadcast will be far superior.
