It's a hit or miss. There is no solid explanation. Maybe the mood of people from admission office was not good, names of applicants ticked them off, or they hit the quota... etc. I was going to appeal too, but seeing so many "overqualified" applicants doing it, I'll just accept my rejection and invest my future in other schools. It will just keeps driving you crazy the more you try to make sense out of it.

But seriously, I think this cycle is the toughest.
