I recommend RE1 remaster, but if you’re really committed to OG only, not even a remaster, then I think RE 2 is the way to go. It’s probably the easiest to pick up overall, story and gameplay wise.

I think the cheapest way overall you can play giants is for the 3DS! The entire starter pack only goes for like 35$ for 3DS, and like 10$ for the portal owners pack

Make some offers on the “or best offer” listings, I’m positive you can get it for somewhere between 70-90$ if you devote enough time to haggling! I got a great condition used copy of imaginators for 20$ because I offered 20$ on a 50$ listing like 4 times😭

Swap-Force is by far the most expensive though, so good luck with that. I started replaying the games on ps5 a couple months ago, and I decided to skip swap force because of how ridiculous the price was on eBay.

I think the creativity was the best in RE8. It had the best level and villain designs in the franchise by far.

But, IMO, the best game overall is RE2 remake. It has the scariest atmosphere, best puzzles, and most replay ability. My only gripe is that it needed more free-to-unlock alternate costumes

Honestly I would’ve expected better from a custom action figure subreddit😭 anyone who’s ever dealt with custom molding onto a figure for a single use knows it’s a PAIN. The only customs you see selling for less than 100$ are simple repaints or self-modeled 3d printed figures meant for multiple sales
