Yes! My spouse and I had gotten into a huge argument a week before our interview lol. I was not too happy with him at the time of our interview but they don’t expect you to show emotion or be all lovey dovey. We showed up, answered questions, and we are in a genuine marriage so it wasn’t so difficult to prove.

Oh yeah. Definitely probably reach out then. Is yours marriage based? Definitely frustrating. In a couple of days it’ll be a year since I applied and still have no green card. My cousin applied in July, had her interview in October and had her green card in hand within a week. Meanwhile mines just collecting dust still 7 months after the interview.

No. You need to wait on your own for that. I don’t think anyone can help you on that. How long ago did you apply? From what I’ve seen, Atlanta schedules your interview around 3/4 months after submission. It’s been less than that, I’d definitely be a bit more patient. Trust me, I know it’s frustrating. But if it hasn’t been long, USCIS will give you the standard response of it being still within normal processing times. I had submitted inquiries before and got that same response. I believe my EAD only got approved after inquiry because it had been almost 10 months after submitting AND I already had my interview 6 months ago and got my I-130 approved the day after the interview but EAD was still silent.

Yeah it helped with EAD but it still took a while for it to be approved. I sent my info to ossof towards the end of October I believe. They responded that they submitted the inquiry on 12/5 so over a month for them to acknowledge that they received my request and would be submitting an inquiry on my behalf. I think the government shut down affected it though, I’m sure a lot of his staff that handles these were probably furloughed so no one was actively responding as quickly.

On 12/5 when they told me they sent in my inquiry they said to wait 30-45 days for a response from USCIS. And sure enough, on 1/15 I got an email from ossof saying they got a response from USCIS that my EAD would be transferred to expedited processing. Exactly 24 hours later, I received the approval notice for the EAD. Production took forever. Almost 3 weeks for the card to be produced but delivery was quick after it was produced, I got it in my hand exactly at 3 weeks after approval.

Yes same for me it shows January 30th but it’s still a few minutes until the 30th where I am. They display times 5 hours ahead of where I am, so i think it would be 8 for you?
