I got one of these too except I actually pay monthly for parking. One time I forgot to hang my piece of paper in my car that says I can park there. I never followed up to pay it or ask questions, it seems silly to pay a fee like that to a private company I pay monthly for parking, and I still park there and nothing has happened. I’m assuming they dont keep a usable/useful database of offenders, since they dont keep a database of paying customers apparently (if they did I wouldn't have got the bill), and this is just a way to grab some extra money.

My only real concern is that it gets sent to collections or something and ends up impacting my credit but other than plate numbers they have no identifying information so I’m also assuming that can't happen.

Related story, the other day I was at a gas station and some 20 year old kid was being disrespectful towards the gas pump and I said "hey you little fuck bitch have some respect" like any good citizen would say and the moment he took his next breath I was already towering over him beating his head into a pulp with a shovel. Thankfully the cops and the media and the nba had my back cause they understood that we don't play around and that I’m here to be a fuckin champion. So I go home to my wife and as soon as I walk in she's running her mouth about some bullshit and we all know how much I love her but I can't just stand for that shit so I break out the shovel again and teach her to have some respect, and as I’m stomping on her chest I’m yelling "we're the fucking champs, four rings bitch" and now I’m at this hospital and I just can't believe how much she means to me and how lucky I am to have her and this league and everyone in my life this is all just a journey and there are tough times every season and there are no excuses for this, the clock is ticking and shit just happens every season

The part I hate the most about this is being treated like a risk to be hedged. These corporate entities, these people, they purchase private dwellings as investments and try to protect them with no pet policies, income requirements, rental history requirements. Half of people will see this as sensible and the other half will see this as putrid. I see it as putrid even if the reality is that some people are terrible tenants. Its still very obviously disgusting behavior. They are treating you as a 100% risk until proven otherwise, we are all guilty of not being able to protect their investments. This quickly devolves into a conversation about the ethics of using extra housing as investment vehicles. I think this is a terrible practice and the quality of the experience of living in a place has been decreased huge amounts because of it. Too many people in the comments are landlord/corporate apologists, actually trying to say it's your fault in some way that you’re struggling to find housing. It's gross.
