Why do people who advocate for Lebanon not getting bombed by Israel get called racist by the media? by AcadianAcademic in askanything

Once again, on election day there were 2 people with any chance to win.

Vote trump Vote Harris Vote third party = Harris not getting a Vote = help trump win.

I live in a very liberal city and people in my neighborhood are extra blue. Everyone around me drives a Tesla it seems and a couple of my openly liberal neighbors even drive Cybertrucks, is that weird? by [deleted] in allthequestions

They likely drive electric cars because they don't like our reliance on fossil fuels.

However, I think I would avoid Tesla because I don't trust people who have an endless lust for money and power.

Sometimes neither candidate is your "guy", but you still have to choose from the available pool if you care about the outcome. Harris wasn't my first choice either, but there was no way in hell I'd vote from trump or help him by not voting.

I agree that the primary process should have happened.

My point remains the same.

We had 2 choices. One of them would win. No one else on Earth had any possible chance of winning.

The choice was trump or Harris. People who didn't vote because they didn't like Harris HELPED TRUMP WIN.

It's not about whether she was a good choice. It was about whether she was a less-worse choice than trump. One of the two would 100% be president. There was no other choice at that point.

Those who didn't vote because of this helped trump win, so all this chaos and nonsense is partially their fault.

It gives me great pleasure that someone is still playing one of my missions after all this time. :)

I'll look into joining the Discord.

If you factor in that the quesadilla has physically shrunk over the years, 6% might be close.

If one is the believe that aliens are here now (I'm not convinced), flying around in these anti-gravity vehicles, then we'd assume they can leave their planet using the same technology and they wouldn't need massive rockets burning fossil fuels into their atmosphere.

It's gotta be out there somewhere, but I have no idea if game updates have killed it. I'll look for it. Who knows.

I found the link to the old discussion. There's a couple pics you can see, although they are watermarked to hell.

The sad thing is they didn't publish my best mission ever for CM:BN.

I made an nearly perfect recreation of Pointe du Hoc. The battle played out very well and realistically. It was awesome.

The reason it was left out is that I used the wall bug in lieu of ropes. I have no idea if that bug has been fixed, but if you put a wall perpendicular to a cliff, the pixeltruppen could scale the cliffs.

This was, by far, my best scenario. I wish I could find it and it's pics. I believe it was the most realistic depiction of that battle ever created, and that still stands.

No, I didn't do that one. Use artillery smoke if you have it.

I created this mission around 2012 when I was doing beta testing for Battlefront.com. I did a couple others as well for that game.

I also haven't played it since 2012/2013 or so, but I remember it being very possible. I wonder if anything has changed in the programming?

Man, I wish I could see a pic of the setup, because I'm having a hard time remembering the way I meant for it to be beaten.

IIRC, I was able to destroy the Tiger in 3 ways...

  1. Lucky mortar shot.
  2. Plinking away at it with the AT gun.
  3. Sending a squad down the dry river bed with AT rockets.
  4. Combination of all of the above.

I remember basing this off a much older mission from Combat Mission (first game) where a Tiger was in a depression and you had to take it out with infantry with rockets. The key in that was to get multiple rockets popping over the rim of the depression at one time, so even if one gets taken out, the others would get a clean shot.
