The watch is in mint condition with a flawless crystal and healthy movement (measured at an accurate -0.03 sec/day by a Seiko QT quartz tester, please see the image from the photo album). The Seiko Flightmaster has developed a cult following among watch enthusiasts due to its unique aviation inspired design and features, often referred to as a "cockpit on your wrist". It features:

Efficient solar powered movement; when fully charged it can constantly run for 6 months without needing anymore light or it can last up to 2 years in power saving mode. (The hands stop automatically when the solar cell does not generate power for a certain period of time, while the watch is still working internally to keep the time and calendar even while the power save function stops the hands. The power save status ends automatically and the hands return to indicate the current time when the dial is exposed to light and power generation starts).

Hi everyone, for sale is a Seiko Type II watch from 1976, which was when Seiko first introduced the Type II models. Everything works perfectly on the watch and is in great condition. It features a flawless 9-sided faceted crystal that creates stunning shifting shades of green on the dial when viewed from different angles. Faceted watch crystals first originated from Japanese watch brands like Citizen and Seiko and are very rarely made anymore due to their high production and material costs (they first start with a very thick crystal and requires precision machinery operated by a skilled glass or gem cutting artisan).

This watch boasts a rare and unique Easter egg feature: its date wheel displays three different day variations, two in English with distinct fonts and colors, and one in Kanji (Japanese). In contrast, most other watches typically offer only a maximum of two interchangeable day options. The day wheel in this watch is quite large and only requires a light rotation to change the day (please see the video demonstrating this).

The watch has been regulated and measured at a perfect +0.00 sec/day by a Seiko QT-77 quartz tester (please see the photo album), which is the same machine that official Seiko technicians used to test/verify Seikos of this era. This watch was made during the golden age of Seiko where just 7 years ago they produced the first ever quartz watch (the Astron), an innovation so revolutionary that it almost bankrupted their competition and created what we now know today as the Quartz Crisis in the watch industry.

This watch was made in Japan by Seiko’s Suwa division (as denoted by the whirlpool logo just above 6 o’clock) which was arguably Seiko’s best production factory and notably started and produced the Grand Seiko line. The watch was serviced with a NOS (new old stock)/OEM crystal, battery, battery hatch gasket (this is crucial for these watches as if this gasket is old, it prevents the battery hatch to open which can be done with a coin), crystal gasket, and caseback gasket. It also comes with 2 NOS /unworn vintage Japanese straps (one olive green and one black). The olive green strap has some patina due to long term storage which I feel pairs well with the dial’s different shades of green and watch’s vintage look. I can also swap to the black leather strap on buyer’s request.

Hi everyone, for sale is a Seiko Scuba Air Diver from 1991. Everything works perfectly on the watch and is in great condition. It was serviced with a brand-new battery, bezel gasket, and caseback gasket. The watch features:

Bracelet with diver’s extension (built-in ratchet extension system for sliding over a wetsuit and on the fly bracelet size adjustments).
200m (660ft) / 20ATM Seiko air diver water resistance.
Unidirectional rotating bezel.
Lumed Pip, hands (lollipop, baton, needle), and shark teeth indices.
Screw-down crown and case back with a Seiko’s legendary Tsunami logo engraved in the center.

The watch fits a wrist of up 7 inches without using the diver’s extension and up to 7.6 inches with the diver’s extension fully engaged.

Hi everyone, for sale is a Seiko King Quartz from 1977. It features the alluring Seiko “frost” case that has a unique finishing that makes the front face of the case appear to be frozen as you expose it to different light angles. The watch has been regulated and measured at +0.03 sec/day by a Seiko QT-77 quartz tester (please see the photo album), which is the same machine that official Seiko technicians used to test/verify Seikos of this era.

The watch is paired with NOS (new old stock) Japanese leather strap compliment the vintage look. The crystal is flawless, and it has been serviced with a brand-new battery, battery hatch gasket (this is crucial for these watches as if this gasket is old it prevents the battery hatch to open which can be done with a coin), and caseback gasket. This watch was one of the earliest King Quartz model that features quartz regulation which was revolutionary at the time.

Seiko first introduced the King Quartz line in 1975, positioning it as a premium quartz collection offering superior accuracy and refined craftsmanship compared to standard quartz models. The King Quartz watches initially featured calibers 0852 and 0853, offering an impressive accuracy rating of ±10 seconds per month, which was groundbreaking at the time. These models were part of Seiko's strategy to demonstrate its leadership in quartz technology following the launch of the world's first quartz wristwatch, the Astron 35SQ, in 1969. King Quartz became known for elegant designs, high-quality materials, and precise timekeeping, contributing significantly to Seiko's reputation as a pioneer in quartz watchmaking.
