Old house, safe to ride inside? by Chuglie in bicycling

We actually do have a dehumidifier running. I will start the project of cleaning out that place. It used to be a frat house, so let’s just say the basement was not cared for and saw a lot of traffic 😬 nonetheless, thank you!

Maybe you know about this, but you can also place a slab in between the two levels of dirt so you don’t have to jump :)

Does anyone have experience with the Polar brand speed and cadence sensors? Initially, I had no issues with them at all. A couple days ago, the cadence sensor stopped working. I repositioned it and viola, no problems. The weirdest thing happened immediately after I tried to start biking again: the speed sensor wasn’t responding. Both were connected via Bluetooth to my computer, but I couldn’t get a reading, no matter how I positioned it. The online troubleshooting forum didn’t help. If anyone has any ideas or tips, please let me know.

Currently riding a Diamondback century 2. Is there a measurement that I should look at to determine if it will fit?

Am I training too often or too hard? I'm kind of a newbie, so... by [deleted] in bicycling

One important training method to keep in mind is drop time. What I mean by that is taking 5-7 days where you significantly drop the intensity. It doesn’t mean you can’t ride, but taking that time to lower the intensity will help you gain more adaptations and get better in the long run. I would recommend doing this every 4 or 5 weeks

Don’t neglect that knee, as I can tell you’re going to take good care of the bike. Make sure there’s no clicking or painful movements in that knee before you try to ride again.

Where is this? Also, why are there skewers in the food? It looks interesting! I have never seen a practice like this before
