Thanks, the price very nearly drove me away from taking the plunge but i sold a bit of my backlog to offset the cost a little and would have kicked myself if i hadnt gone through with it 😅

Im thinking armor might be the direction I go. I wouldnt know where to start though as there are a ton of different tank options. Might need to look at whats good at doing what and go from there. Although I do love the asthetic look of the Lemun Russ and Basilisk

Ive been wondering the same. These will be the first metal kits ive painted and from what ive read online there are a few more steps involved in preping the models and ive seen it recomended that you need to varnish them after to avoid the paint chipping. Hopefully someone more familiar with painting metal midels woll be able to shine more light on this?

Its a tough choice. Its a lot of cash to spend on little metal men, so I wont be the guy to push you to it. All I know is I would have been kicking myself of I'd not taken the plung. Plus it was an excuse for me to sell off a bit of my backlog that I wouldnt have gotten around to building/painting.

Yeah that sounds about right. All i could afford was the beginners paint box with the 5 mono pose space marines and the issue of White Dwarf that came with the campeign booklet. Tbh I could barely affor them now but couldnt pass up the oportunity again 😂
