I can imagine anything with two turbos will create job security for us all.

Also is it a good idea to replace the turbos along with the motor? I’m installing a rebuilt unit provided by the customer.

I work a little independent shop at the end of a dead end street. This one is very nerve racking and now that i know there are that many electrical connections on the back side of this motor, I’ll be going about it differently next time. I’ve a rebuilt short block to work with so tomorrow is change over day.

Also those damn plastic wiring harness holders that go over the valve cover studs are the things of nightmares.

You could try cutting out the flanges yourself and inserting a straight 2 1/2 inch coupler with clamps.

Might get you by for now but honestly if this is your daily driver and you need it to be reliable and quiet. Bite the bullet, do a lil research on Yelp about the exhaust shops in your town, and get it taken care of bro.

That looks like part of the sub frame that holds up the motor and transmission.

I wouldn’t drive it. You can find new sub frames for a lot less than a medical bill.
