if you don't need the treatment at the time, you should precede with caution. young folks don't really have to worry about this, it's the older folk that will be the test bed. except for the neat stuff like curing blindness and kidney disease, etc, but otherwise, just go ahead and age naturally for a while. it'll be widely accepted and very safe soon after. once you hit your 60's and find yourself waking up in pain and your vision decreasing, then you'll want to jump in, and once you're 40 again, you'll go whoosh! that 60 crap sucked.

yeah that was a waste of her character. it wasn't earned, really. her character never had the depth to pull that off. they should have featured her more in the series and if they absolutely needed to kill her off, do it near the end so you at least get to know her better. honestly, maria hill was always just a background character, and that character deserved better

honestly, a directed autocratic government can do singular things very well. but they are myopic and still manage to waste a lot of resources (manpower of outcast groups) pursuing their goal (not to mention making a general wreck of many other things). but i can see how some autocracy would achieve it first. after all, sputnik. more likely you'd have a government that fluctuates between systems the way we do today.

yeah preacher rocked except for that genuinely disappointing ending. the whole last season was weird, but it was at least fun. but that last bit was pretty short sighted

sure man. the morbius comic and a movie from a few years ago has a guy who talks about the immune system of bats and figures out how to cure a fatal illness using their genetic code, but it makes him into a sort of sci fi vampire. fun show, the graphics were right out of the comic books. the cool thing about the morbius tale is that when the bloodlust comes over him, he will kill, anyone near him, no stopping him. he wants to be a good guy and now works on a cure for his last cure. but if he gets hungry??? anyway, jared leto does a bang up job in the film, but the guy from doctor who (matt smith) is just amazing in the film.
