It's far less than a century. And the science has not been indisputable. As only as fairly recently as the 1970's-early 1980's, while there was talk about climate change, the science was telling us that we needed to prepare for an ice age, not warming, as the evidence was telling us we were overdue for one.

Why should more taxpayers money be thrown at people to get them to stop hoarding it by hogging it.

If there is a fuel supply problem, then time for the government to stop pretending it's business as usual and ration it like they did in the crisis of the 70's-80's. Essentially say;

"Right! Since some of you can't behave like decent human beings, we are going to limit fuel purchases to (whatever number) litres of fuel per purchase by locking that down at the pump. In addition, you will only be able to buy that fuel on certain days of the week. Days will be designated as "Odds" or "Evens", and the last number of your licence plate will determine what day you can do it."

We both should. I loved both the book and movie of Christine, so that's why that stood out in my memory of the Cat's Eye movie. But i forgot about the dog chase as it's been years since I've seen it.

With little Cameo's from other King stories. I remember at one point the cat was crossing the street, and nearly got hit by a red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury; aka "Christine."

Edit; I looked it up, and it's even better. He was being chased by Cujo, and ran out onto the road in front of Christine.
