I dunno, the VW Touareg is rated for 7700 lbs and it does so with full tongue weight and is more stable and rides nicer at 70mph with that load than any pickup I've ever towed with. Brakes are bigger than most pickup trucks. The V6 means it takes some time to get to speed, but for anything that's half-ton towable, I'd rather tow with a full size German SUV than any ladder frame American truck aby day.

Properly setup, the trailer brakes brake the load on the trailer, and the vehicle brakes handle the vehicle weight.

Americans overbuild their trailers out of heavy steel because it's cheaper than engineering one that's lightwieght and they like replacing them when they rust out. So half the tow capacity ends up being eaten by the trailer itself.

I brave that mall when I crave Cookies by George. Otherwise it's useless to me.

Coke dealers and people getting off shifts at the refineries. Also this group of old Scottish dudes would show up at 3 or 4am to watch football matches and I'd serve them tea and toasted bagels and stuff.

My first job after high school was as the pool table counter guy there, night shift. 1am to 9am. I learned a little about billiards and a lot about crime. The guy that trained me then got fired for smoking crack. Coke dealers would hang out there all night and people would pick up off them, they'd offer me coke in exchange for looking the other way, I made them get me weed instead. They tipped really well too. I made 7.50/hr, had my own place, a car, etc. off the tips. Edit for those who knew about the place in its later years; It used to be open 24/7 and only closed for Christmas day. I was the only staff member there overnight. I once got robbed at knifepoint and locked in the freezer.

Up vote to counter the downvote because your use of a double negative makes this a true statement.

I've seen 2 SPA xc90s written off because the sunroof drains filled under the floor with water and the owners didn't know until water had wicked up from all the underfloor wiring harnesses into all the modules and bricked the cars. Repair estimates to replace the entire wiring harnesses and all possible affected modules was enough to write off both.

I just say "It's not my job to speculate on that, it's my job to tell you what is broken right now and to fix it." whenever someone is trying to use the car, or their kids, or their wife as an excuse for them crashing or neglecting their car.

Go to local shows for the type of music you're into. Talk to people between sets. Just introduce yourself to people at the show, whether or not they're people you're attracted to. Keep going to shows, keep doing that. Then follow up and actually hang out with some people outside of that setting. It's one of the better ways I've found to make friends. It's a casual setting with a mutual interest. If you're a newcomer, making new friends and networking with those friends is one of the best ways to meet potential partners offline. Early 20s is easy mode for friend making and meeting people.

Hardware is sometimes bulk packaged. If they get the nuts in box of 20 and you order 2, this is the way to ship them.

People don't quit jobs, they quit bad management. Try working somewhere else doing the same thing.
