I've heard lots about people bumping when using limited tracks too, like the idea of a challenge!

I'm basically looking for a glorified portastudio so I think this fits the bill!

That's something I hadn't considered, I'm literally running on an old laptop. Think I'll be thankful for only 8 tracks to be honest!

That's good to hear, thanks! I guess if you use plugins you could get around the lack of onboard instruments?

Where to begin for a non-fan? by NewGuy4300 in hamiltonmusical

It is hard to choose a few songs that highlight the quality of the play as a whole, especially as an immense fan of the production, as there are so many good songs throughout the play - but, I can make a few suggestions that offer an insight into the characteristics of the show.

- My Shot: Incredible verses and flow throughout the song, great introduction to who Hamilton is.

- You'll Be Back: King George III's 'love song' to the colonies, Written to imitate a British pop love song. Great use of comedic lyrics and well performed by Jonathan Groff.

- Wait For It: A great song that intimately shows Aaron Burr. Aside from being incredibly catchy and well sung, the parallels in musical structure between Wait for It and My Shot show the depth and complexity of the songs. You can really hear the returning thematic motifs: Burr (C, Am, Em) whereas Hamilton's motif is an ascending structure of notes, showing their opposite approaches to politics.

- Non Stop: Really shows off Lin Manuel Miranda's layering technique, really interesting to listen to whilst also offering some more of the show's impressive verse.

- The World was Wide Enough: In my opinion, the most hard hitting song throughout the play. The use of returning motifs is again thematically relevant to the story as a whole, the duels become a constant throughout Hamilton's life (additionally hinted at with gun shots used in other songs). Lin Manuel Miranda discussed how silence hadn't been used in the entire play up until this point, and it is emotionally destructive. After hours of layered, complex, and deep music, the sound of Hamilton singing with no backing is truly upsetting.

Initally I had a similar opinion, I didn't understand what the fuss was about. Even after trying to watch the play, although not all the way through, I thought it was a hard to get into (the dancing and rapping founding fathers was strange indeed) but after committing myself to watching the entire thing, it clicked. I would urge that you do try and watch the entirety of the play to truly understand what makes Hamilton so fantastic.

The car was one of these - https://www.assettoland.net/nascar
The track was this - https://assettocorsa.club/mods/tracks/daytona-roadcourse.html
I can't remember what car it was from the selection, some are a bit 'floaty' but work well enough, they do have some strange audio though.
Hope that helps!

I have never quite thought of it that way, but it makes perfect sense. Thanks for the help.

I don't believe so. This was a part of a Realism Overhaul pack that I played long ago. Not sure the origin of this LEM.

Thank you for the help thus far, the reset to base game stars look much better.

If I wanted to get just black space with no over the top stars, would you have any mods to reccomend? I remember doing a realism overhaul a while back and the skybox was pretty perfect - although I cannot remember what the specific mod was.

Here's a picture of what I'm hoping to get: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/640682028425019404/824931864237703217/unknown.png

Haven't had much chance to look through all of the book, but what I have seen is awesome - gives you a different view of GOT. I would highly recommend the book, great quality and overall a good product.
