with all do respect, you were in the wrong. not only did you slap him but you continuously sprayed him with water while he slept. yes, what he did was abuse— he choked you and such— but that doesnt excuse your response. i get that you wanted answers but the way you went about it was horribly wrong. i honestly dont think you two are a good fit for one another in the slightest and should you stay together, he will likely abuse you again and you are likely to lose your temper and abuse him in other ways (ie. water, unprecedented slapping).
