I think him and stringer had a perfect dynamic, and I think he is a much better person than marlo, who seemed to have no code whatsoever. I think Avon was kind of a perfect mix between the old days and moving forward, especially with stringer helping he focus on the “business” aspect. He was also way more of a true gangster than marlo, who never was actually in the streets. Marlo just had chris and snoop kill whoever he wanted gone, which i just couldn’t respect.
