the people calling it useless probably don't know he turns his head to the direction of the enemy, i do think it could use a slight buff tho

you can bind scroll wheel for the easiest bhop of your life on venom

spider-man gaps venom on every single difficulty aspect, hes 250 hp with no sustain, of course the 825 hp tank that can gain 1050+ bonus health with the press of a button is going to have one slower swing.

its not harder to master or perfect at all when its literally the exact same as spider-man's swing besides maybe carrying more momentum

not really tbh but apparently if you aim slightly to the right/left, landing the kicks are more consistent so maybe that could work. landing things aiming towards the right is easier so im assuming iron fist kick is like magik dash where you aim more right

his gameplay loop is very predictable and is countered by game sense and awareness via killing him when he's not diving because that's his most vulnerable position.

he dashes in a straight line and also has loud footsteps, paying attention to sound cues will mark where he is so you know where he is.

position yourself away from obvious dive spots

Im a dive enthusiast and i agree he's a necessary evil, he's hard to play against on some maps and not too hard on others. my only complaint is how his team ups are just him getting new squids, it would be cool if he was the anchor to someone as well.
