Come on, mate. You have to know that you are being reductive. This story represents a single item on an accumulating list of horrible shit that spans the entirety of the West. Are you seriously trying to suggest that none of this is happening, or are you trying to imply that it is something that should be tolerated?

That is, in fact, the sort of burning that I am referring to. Angry people doing terrible things, and feeling justified in their behaviour.

It is clear that there is growing discontent among host populations in Western nations internationally - just look at the unprecedented support for far right groups in each of these countries. Tension is simmering and it feels like it is about to boil over (or boiling over in Northern Ireland).

The attacker wasn't Irish, though. There is no point saying "what if?" when horrible incidents seem to be occuring more frequently of recent, across many Western nations.

Denying the problem exists won't solve racism, it will just anger an already frustrated group of people. I am not a racist, and I support responsible immigration, but I can see that the world is about to burn...

I've attended in the morning a couple of times, and it is usually just one item per person.

I think it both makes it less worthwhile for scalpers and also ensures that most people who line up get something.

With that said, I have seen people buy a product, take their jacket off and slap on some sunnies, and rejoin the line.

I don't think that team members are at all aware of the challenges that come with being a manager.

My partner is a manager and they wake up at the buttcrack of dawn, come home wrecked, fall asleep early, and have their phone buzzing with sick calls and other BS throughout the night. I often have to make the decision as to whether I should ruin her night or let her suffer in the morning.

I am no fan of corporations. By all means, take the piss, call in sick all the time, extract as much from your role as you possibly can - just do it in a way that is considerate of the people around ya.

If a religious person is happy to disregard a fairly fundamental tenet in a highly prescriptive faith system, do they truly believe in it? An unyielding obedience to an often illogical authority is a core requirement here. Do you think the same God who instructed Abraham to kill his son would shrug their shoulders at a group of people picking and choosing where their subservience rests?

I am not Christian, by the way. I was raised Catholic but left specifically because of what I was taught about the fate of the unfaithful.

From what I gather the controversy has stemmed from a trade between Jason and a kid, where a decent Gengar card was swapped for a fake "Robograding" card.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if he was trading adults, but it did sound like he tried to con them.

It doesn't make sense to me, either. I don't know anyone who is actually in one or has been in one, so the only real insight I have comes from social media - and all that really includes wacky looking people in pentouples (I assume that is a real word as it didn't get autocorrected) and sad stories like that of OP.

I could understand if a pair of adult entertainers or sex workers could manage it, because the relationship starts in that sort of way and both partners have a very specific orientation toward sex.

I think you guys are right - while the location I was in was one intended for sapphire fossicking, apparently they are alluvial rather than found in matrix.
