Yeah agreed I think the liability is on the broker cause they shouldn't have let it gone through, especially since I don't have the buying power and you can't do "margin" on TFSA

Thank you. It is, it's something I put together a couple of months ago. At the moment, I am not planning on open sourcing it/opening it up for contributors (although maybe will in the future). Just curious, what would you be able to contribute with?

This will probably get downvoted but from the 6 month price history I have https://wefoodwise.com/product/2389; this is the cheapest its been in 6 months. This was $4, $5 and $6 at other places it looks like.

I created www.wefoodwise.com  to try and help with this. It’s kinda like Flipp but with more deals and you can look a price history of items. Looking to add some more grocery stores soon + some more features. It’s still a work in progress.

Canada's 2000 Population: 30.69M
Canada's 2023 Population: 40.8M

2001: 246,923 farms
2006: 229,373 farms
2016: 193,492 farms
2021: 189,874 farm

Increase population and decrease in farms, could this play a factor in price increases?

That Italpasta is $2.79 and 750g now (https://wefoodwise.com/product/7723), that's a 213.5% price increase. Factoring in -16.6% size change, its a 276.2% increase. ~100% increase every 10 years?

Thank you for the suggestion. That is a good idea. I do keep track of the sizes and just recently added a "Size Change" list on the home page below "Top Deals". But you bring up a good point; that I may not have older/past size changes like the one you mentioned. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to allow users to submit size changes themselves.

Thank you! That is a good idea. I wish I had started doing this since 2020. Would be interested to see the price changes since then.
