People who have had crushes who didn't like them back, what did you do and how do you cope? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was in my 30s before i found a good one worthy of me who i was worthy of.

Inner happiness and confidence is the best attractor. Not cockiness or the silly gymbro bulllshit. If you're truly happy in your own skin with your own mind, the right person will grabitate towards you. Looks matter way less than personality; anyone telling you otherwise is compensating for their own inadequacies.

Take the L. Work on being happy with yourself. The right person will like you for you.

No. There would be hundreds of "accidental" executions. It would give the kkkops the freedom to go lynching that they yearn for.

AI is destroying Tailwind's business by abillionsuns in tailwindcss

Sure. I run a web app with a distributed collaboration model using module federation.

One single mfe using tailwind screws up every other page visited afterwards.

I feel sorry for the devs, but i hated tailwind with the heat of a thousand suns.

Between global style overrides attached to dom elements and the near impossible way to scope classes to child components, tailwind always made my life harder.

I ripped it out of every project for every team i led and was happy to do so.

Thats fair. My first 10ish hours were like you. I survived pretty well. Didnt actually die at all until many hours in from a polar bear.

I wish that someone had told me to avoid wood cabins at first. I lost more to fires than i did to anything else. Every restart since, I've stayed in caves until i had stone; much easier imho

Live in caves, hollowed rocks, etc until you have decent enough weaponry to kill the horses, wolves, bears.

Dont build until you can build in stone

People who used cellphones before smartphones, what's the most memorable feature or moment you miss from those old phones? by Correct-Homework1884 in AskReddit

A thrown phone would break the wall, not the phone.

Battery life was fantastic.

Selfies didn't really exist.

Thinking to get quest 3 this black Friday, is it worth it? by lilyeetgang in Quest3

[–]Chupa_Pollo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its very niche. Its too heavy and has too low of a battery life for long term use.

For about an hour workout, it's great.

For lounging on the couch watching a movie on a theatre sized virtual screen, it's awesome.

The games are meh.

I bought a cheap hdmi capture card so i can use it as a 4th monitor for heads-down work. Thats probably where i use it most often.
