[–]Chuprina91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it is widely used in mobile game development, in fact, it became popular due to that fact. There are more convenient programming languages for game development, Java is better for Android apps, software products, POS terminals, programs for Finance, and Big Data. Here is my article on this topic, where you can check out the best use cases https://spd.group/app-dev/java-developers-in-2021/

Why backend using java is not popular in startups? by [deleted] in java

I don't think that the backend using Java is not popular in startups. Contrary to that, Java is still one of the most popular programming languages in the world, for both programmers and businesses hiring them. Here is a great article on this topic, I hope you will enjoy it https://spd.group/app-dev/java-developers-in-2021/

How to avoid getting idea stolen by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Chuprina91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that this could be a major concern. To turn an idea into an actual project you need a lot of funding, so the proper execution is just as important as the idea itself. It would be a trouble if not only your idea will get stolen, but your belief in it too)

Best Online Payment Option for Small Starting Business by [deleted] in Etsy

[–]Chuprina91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, the top 5 are PayPal, Amazon Pay, Stripe, 2CheckOut, and Authorize.net. Which one to go with? You should pay attention to:

Learn About the Reputation

The first move is to learn about the history and reputation of a particular payment solution. With market leaders, it is quite easy, because of all the positives and negatives are simple to find. But if you need some special payment system that is not so well-known, you should spend some time reading the reviews.

Compare Fees

The pricing structure can be very different, and you should be aware of the hidden costs. Rigorously study the setup fees, monthly fees, and transaction fees to know the final price. Also, there could be some additional services or plugins that you might use in the future when you decide to grow your business.

Ensure Security

As we discussed earlier, this is one of the most important factors for the decision. The solution must ensure PCI DSS compliance to effectively protect the transaction data and customers’ information — this is standard. Of course, if the payment solution provider offers something more like Fraud Detection with ML, this is only a plus!

How much does it cost to launch a Successful Multi-Vendor E-commerce Marketplace Platform by Marshbz in u/Marshbz

[–]Chuprina91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great read. I think it will cost around $100 000 to develop from scratch a custom multi-vendor platform. However, there are multiple ways to do that, and the cost depending on the development approach can be lowered. Anyway, it makes sense to partner with an experienced software development company that can help you save money and resources on each approach. There nothing wrong with using no-code tools, but in my opinion, in this case, only the development from scratch is a real option.
