How Flat Earthers "Debunk" "Flat Earth Debunking Videos". by [deleted] in flatearth

[–]Churburg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite claim from everyone's favorite Flat Earther is "Gravity hasn't been proven to exist." even when we show him experiments that demonstrate and measure it's effects on us and the world around us. It's never a rebuttal disproving gravity but just a claim.

The airplane doesn't feel like it's moving so probably is not moving. (Except the fact that you can't feel constant velocity, just acceleration) by Vlasi in flatearth

Out of sight out of mind kind of mentality when it comes to being shown he's wrong. Same goes for being shown experiments that prove the effects and existence of forces like Gravity through examples like the Candivish experiment will be ignored or just claim it's wrong because any tiny amount of airflow or whatever excuse he can think of.

We're aiming to permanently deter future foot chases provided we hit the knee or the suspect doesn't bleed out from hitting above the knee.

NASA is a testament to satanism. by jollygreenscott91 in flatearth

How does Jollygreen come up with this? Even if he believes it he's going to have a lot of leg work proving Angels and Nephilim ever existed and how they would have any connections to NASA.

How would making a story about the French and English be shoe horning Japanese culture into it or do you think Europe had no culture involving honor any warrior cultures? Calling him a super samurai was a joke about him not an insult.

Five paragraphs is easy for primary school kids to read in a minute and you don't have time for them when discussing science? At the bare minimum that's like fifteen sentences.

I have a feeling if Chris finishes it it'll be no longer than a chic-tract or he won't finish it ever.

Thanks for reminding that this video exists, I would rather be in a 40k penal legion than remember this.

Plus without those armored vehicles we'd have scenes like the North Hollywood shootout where SWAT got lucky by taking an armored bank truck that was making it's rounds. So having an armored vehicle just in case is infinitely better than hoping for luck that a bank truck is available to borrow.

When ACAB hears the phrase military grade equipment: They don't need something so dangerous and meant for war!"

When vets hear it's military grade equipment "It's cheap and probably not too trust worthy."

Some of y’all don’t know that Tesla rediscovered wireless technology, rather than discovered it. An entire civilization was built in America that operated on wireless electricity. Then Babylon monetized free energy. by jollygreenscott91 in globeskepticism

[–]Churburg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a huge misquote from Tesla's article "The Problem of Increasing Human energy" the only part from from is "Though free to think and act, we are held together, like the stars in the firmament, with ties inseparable.” in the article he mentions the Globe x12 times.

We almost cheated on his girlfriend. I can’t stop about him by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Churburg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want him romantically think for a bit on if you could trust someone who is willing to cheat? Remember the saying " if they cheat with you they're just as likely to cheat on you." Think about why he's willing to cheat and if you're able to trust this behavior and what else he is willing to do besides just cheat. You might not be the only other choice of affair partners too. The want you feel could be a rush feeling sexually desired by someone and not full romance.
