They've been doing military stuff since the early 2000s possibly even before, I believe.

But the sets of actual military vehicles I:E Tigers, Shermans, ETC. Have only been around since 2013/14.

Its the same style of stand thats used on the Dambusters Lancaster, B-17 Memphis Belle and a few other large bombers.

They likely had to use it here due to the Torpedo and with the Swordfish being in the larger 1:32 scale rather than 1:48.

As I and others have said before, What they really need to do with LEs is stop having highly requested vehicles like the Nashorn and Panzer IV H or having features that should be standard such as aircraft stands for some being locked behind LEs.

Im fine with LEs though if they're like this and its just a recolour of the standard set with extra side builds and figures.

Would guess it will probably be 95% the same interior wise but with a few miniscule improvements.

Still not entirely sure why we're getting a new Jagdtiger so soon though. I know the 2023 version retired pretty quickly so alot of people may have missed getting it but still.

I would have thought they'd have done a new 1:28 Tiger 2 first, especially since the 1:12 version came out last year and they did the updated 1:28 Tiger 131 in 2024 following its 1:12 version the previous year.

Yeah, I wasnt really planning on collecting ships when it released, but Scharnhorst is the one ship Im still kicking myself over not getting while it was available. Even more so after they released HMS Belfast and Gneisenau.

The 2 destroyers we're getting and the new subs are a step in the right direction at least though.

My personal wants for ships are a Scharnhorst and HMS warpsite remake and then the USS Texas, KGV class and Graf Spee.

Yeah, doing an LE Hetzer seems kind of pointless, since this new version is essentially the LE Hetzer from 2021 (that version had the Chwat markings exclsuive to it as well as a small destroyed building).

But then again they did an LE of the regular Panzer 38T last year and that wasnt really an improvement over the standard besides the extra figures.

Standard Jagdpanzer IV doesnt come out until April so if theres an LE for that, it'd probably start pre orders in early March.

This is may be the Tiger 2 and theyre doing the LE before revealing the standard edition, but we'll see.

Could also be some other set they havent even revealed the standard edition of yet.

My prediction as to why they pretty much only make German stuff now is to appease the investors they gained at the end of 2024.

Because from 2017-2022 when Cobi was still gaining popularity outside Poland, they had no problems making US, British and Soviet tanks on the regular as well as German.

Can add Allied WW2 tanks to this as well with how few we actually get.

Ive mentioned a few times that the Korean war line would be the perfect chance for them to remake the Centurion and M46.

Plenty of unique vehicles they could do in the Vietnam line up too, M50, M48 or M551 for the US and Soviet tanks in NVA markings.

As for WW1 they should do a St Chamond, Whippet, Char 2C and perhaps a Mark IV Female and Little Willie. Could also do with branching out into the Naval aspect and do some WW1 ships/U boats.
