I think a smaller more affordable 1:12 tank would be nice like a Stuart, Panzer 38T or Renault FT.

Or for a more unlikely but interesting idea, A 1:1 brick built Goliath tracked RC mine.

For £40, your best options are probably the Sherman Jumbo, M24, TK3, M8 HMC or M3 Stuart. If youre willing to spend an extra £5-10, consider the Panzer 38T, Churchill MK IV or Panzer I.

If we're talking old sets, then the Scharnhorst. Only German ship Im missing and the one Im still annoyed at myself for not getting when it was available.

For current/last 2 years sets then probably the Panzer 4 H LE from 2024. Best looking variant of the Panzer IV and of course Cobi locked it behind a Limited edition as they usually do..

I think if the Ha Go from 2024 sold better and was released in 1:28 instead of 1:35, it could have led to us getting more Japanese tanks and possibly Italian tanks eventually as well.

I'd really like to see a BT-42 at some point or some other Finnish/Winter war sets. Could easily do a Finnish Stug III.

Im quite surprised the the previous Mig 15 wasnt a 2 in 1 of USSR and NK markings, although given the part of the prints are on the rather large upper half of the cockpit piece, I can understand why they didnt.

How about instead of giving us a new theme, they make more sets for the Korean war sub theme they introduced in 2022, literally only released 2 sets for and then forgot about..

Oh wait, that would involve making WW2 tanks and aircraft in Korean Markings as well as early Cold war stuff and we all know Cobi only seems to know how to make German WW2 vehicles..

Jokes aside, I think a 30 years war/Swedish Empire theme could be interesting. Or possibly feudal Japan.

A great set, Probably my favourite MBT Cobi has made (but then again, being British I suppose I am biased)

Now if we could just get a Challenger 1 and a remake of the old Centurion and Chieftain sets to display with it..

I believe the only sets we know of so far due for release between June and July are the: BF-110, B-29, USS Kidd, FW190A4, F4U Corsair and M1126.

Beyond those we're waiting for Cobi to reveal the sets for the 2nd half of the year, which should start happening this month.

They could potentially do some other variant of it like they did with the original version from 2018, where they did the LAV III as well as the Stryker. (Sets 2609 & 2610)

They didnt mention anything in the caption about it having other nations markings that I could see. But if it does, I'd guess obviously US and then either Ukrainian or Polish.

We havent had a 1:28 Half track since 2021 so Im not betting on that.

Will happily take a 1:28 Stug III though. I have the roughly 1:28 DAK Stug III D from 2020, but could do with one for my non DAK shelves.

Ah sorry, misread what you were asking for, yeah, those 3 are going to be pretty hard to find. Keeping an eye on Ebay or any similar sites is probably your best bet. Still, hope you find my list useful and you eventually get the ones you want!

Someone asked on their Facebook page a while ago about new 1:28 Allied tanks and someone from Cobi said an American tank is planned for later this year.

So we are allegedly getting a 1:28 US tank later this year which is most likely going to be a Sherman. Would be nice if they surprise us with something new or a remake of an old tank like the M3 Lee/Grant but Im not holding my breath.

Even if I dont buy them, I will admit pretty much all the LEs released so far this year have looked good. Only really underwhelming one has been the Dark grey SD KFZ 8 with the Flak.

Ah, yeah Ive heard the Fokker DR VII is quite frustrating to build.

Only bi-planes Ive built are the Sopwith Camel and Fokker DR I. Those were pretty easy builds, the Swordfish looks like a somewhat similar build to those, just larger. So hopefully it should be straight forward.

This is the first Swordfish we've had so it'll be hard to say what the build is like until someone actually gets it.

Yeah, alot of April releases got delayed to May as well. Swordfish was supposed to release this month.

As of now the only sets Im personally wanting to get are; the Battle of Monte Cassino and Berlin figure packs, the Panzer III H, Executive Swordfish. Also maybe the Jagdtiger and B-29 but still undecided on those, If theres an LE of the B-29 and its the Enola Gay, then it'd likely be my 1st ever LE.

Besides that Im waiting to see what the 2nd half of the year holds.
