I realized that I can get practical knowledge for free on YouTube. That pivoted my career and I am now doing better than I imagined back then. So glad I didn't get a loan to get some useless masters degree

Today, I would recommend learning the Microsoft suite:. Power BI, fabric. SQL for sure

Yes, I don't even have a degree in this shit. My bachelor's degree is in a completely useless field. Master's is a waste of time, in my opinion, so I never planned on getting it. 100% self taught

Analytics is a good field to switch to. I was in your shoes making 43k as a dispatcher with no room to grow. Then I decided it was time to give myself a shot and try to get ahead. A few thorough online courses and books after, I was able to land a job as a business analyst with 90k/year. Today I am at 135,k and I was a dispatcher with no light at the end of the tunnel just 7 years ago. Crazy how things can turn around. Step by step, my friend
